Linkin Park select ‘Iridescent’ as next single

Since Linkin Park confirmed that they were working on new music, I kind of assumed that they had given up on releasing any more singles from their under-performing fourth album A Thousand Suns. Turns out that isn’t the case, with the band today confirming that “Iridescent” will hit radio on April 19th.
I had my heart set on something heavier like “Blackout” or “When They Come for Me”, but they’d probably just flop. “Iridescent” sounds like it could do well on Billboard’s various rock charts as well as the Adult Pop Songs chart, so you can see why it’s been chosen.
LP are currently on their A Thousand Suns world tour until September, where they’ve been writing new music with plans to get back into the studio.
