Lindsay Lohan inspired by Madonna for new album; Confirms Snoop Dogg collabo.

Party animal Lindsay Lohan has let out some more details on her highly-delayed third album on Twitter, confirming previous reports that rapper Snoop Dogg will appear on one of the tracks.

Rumors of the Snoop Dogg collaboration first surfaced back in early 2008 when a backstabber insider close to Lohan said that the pair had recorded an “amazing” track together. Despite her troublesome reputation the socialite/singer/actress still seems to be on good terms with the rapper, pictured above attending the release party for his More Malice album last month.

Lindsay also revealed that she has a song on the album penned by Kara DioGuardi and produced by J.R. Rotem, which has a “Madonna undertone”. That really doesn’t tell us much since Madge changes genre with every album, but when it comes to Lindsay’s disastrous music career vague news is better than no news.

Other producers on Lohan’s Spirit In The Dark album include Timbaland, The Neptunes, Akon, Stargate, Bloodshy & Avant and more.

The current status of her record deal is unclear. She’s supposed to be signed to Universal Motown, but I heard some rumors that she’s been dropped and is currently shopping for a new deal on the low. Don’t quote me on it though.

    I really don’t see her music career taking off again. She might do good to sell 25 – 30,000 units her first week, but quickly drop off after that. Radio isn’t going to play her single, no matter how hot it is. At least the radio stations here.

    Still can’t wait to have a new cd by her, I own both Speak and ALMP. I bet she’ll have a December or November release.

    She frustrates me A LOT! she is a tallented actress and makes good music but she is so FUCKED UP!
    it’s not supprising with parents like hers but it would be so easy for her to make a comeback if she wanted too, all she’d have to do is stop clubbing every night, go to rehab, dye her hair read again and stop dressing like a tramp and as with other people the public would be like “WHOA LINDSAY IS BACK” but it’s like she’s stuck in a vicious cycle.
    The album is no doubt gonna be hot but if she releases it now before she sorts herself out she’s doing herself over because the general public (as apposed to fans) arnt gonna buy it…

    i admit i am a fan of her more pop tunes like rumors,first,teenage drama queen, etc so hopefully its more in that direction.
    she is wasting her talent, she can really act and has a nice voice-she needs to get away from her toxic parents, go to rehab for real this time, and get clean.go back to acting class. singing coach.etc.build up your rep again.
    i just have a bad feelin she gonna pass this year.

    Lindsay has a lot of talent that people forget because of what her life has become. I beg for her to clean up her act, and at one point i thought she was.

    Georgia Rule was a good film, but her persona threw everybody off. I didnt like A Little More Personal at first, but i have grown to LOVE that album. A Beautiful Life (Bella Vita) is a GREAT record.

    Speak was another perfectly crafted Pop album.

    Bossy, HOT record that almost everyone i knew that heard it loved it. Stuck ,wish i had a HQ version is another good track coming from her.

    Someone please help Lindsay lol so she can get back to what matters. I want “Spirit in the Dark” and i LOVE that title.
