Leona Lewis performs “Outta My Head” on Jimmy Kimmell

The good news? Leona Lewis has just given her first major televised performance of her second single “Outta My Head”.

The bad news? Unless you skip to 4:30 you’ll have to sit through the “Happy” performance again.

Will the Max Martin produced “Outta My Head” save Le-Lews new album Echo which just debuted at #13 on the Billboard charts with a measly 70k? I don’t think anybody (including Leona herself) buys her singing this dance-pop song, but we’ll see what happens.

LOL, she forgot the cut out part of the bridge, at 7:16. haha

im actually really disappointed, i saw her perform this song at the hackney empire and she had full choreography and most of all it wasn’t boring, she can actually dance really well, but once again she’s gone for the safe option.

live performance is 100% about the artist, but for the first time in history i don’t think i’ve seen them look so much at the band instead of the artist, its like they kept looking at the band to bring some energy to the screen. its like she couldn’t wait for it to finish.

i wouldn’t go as far to say that leona is out of her comfort zone as many others would because i remember her before the x factor, i mean she likes wearing belly tops and jeans, she has her belly button pierced and some tattoos, shes not what everyone thinks she is. there is a daring side to her but its been padded down so much.

So much wrong with this performance. I’m sorry, she’s extremely talented and all, but c’mon! I mean she had like no expression in her face! I mean if your not gonna dance or move much, u can at least sell it with your face. Something just needs to change here.

  4. HEALTHY BLACK QUEENS Says:

LiLi UK: Are you from Hackney? If so, fellow Hackneyer representing!!

TJ: She’s shy, like myself. I don’t show expressions AT ALL, and it’s not on purpose. I’m so glad that they’re finally ditching Happy. After all these weeks, they’ve finally gotten the hint that the public doesn’t want it! I pressed play and forgot it was on…it just drags. No build up, nothing!

Is anyone else irritated by her voice? She can SANG, but her vocals are just soooo whiny! The longer I listened to Echo, the more unbearable it was.

  9. The Prophet Says:

C’mon Ed, it seems so forced, I just dont buy it! It’s hilarious.

I think the label made her do this, and she probably thought it was a good idea.
