Leona Lewis makes more excuses about her album

Leona no1curraboutmeanymore Lewis still won’t admit that her third album glAssheart was pushed back because “Collide” flopped and that her label are in desperate need of finding her a hit before she turns into the next Gareth Gates. She’s still trying to convince the world that she delayed the album for artistic reasons.

“I’m doing it old school and feeling it out, and making sure I’m getting the best songs,” she told the Daily Star. “I keep going back in trying to make the songs better, more spectacular and up my game each time.”

She added: “This album is going to be more open because I’ve got to work with people I’ve bonded with. It’s such a nice way to make an album as I’ve never done that before. People will hear a whole new side of me. It’s really refreshing for me to have so much control and Fraser has given me a lot of power in what I’m doing so it’s been different.”

The Fraser she’s talking about is Fraser T. Smith. He did Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain”, Britney’s “Trouble For Me”, and that Hurt EP that Leona released that nobody heard. Leona says he’s doing her “whole album” now.

Hope they do something good. I don’t mind some Le-Lew here and there. She can out-sing my faves but she can also put them to sleep because she’s so boring, but I’ll still give her new stuff a spin.

    I don’t care anymore. She’s an awesome singer but too much bullshit on this 3rd album. It’s been so long since she released stuff that she’s already irrelevant. PPl, hold on to you ‘Spirit’ and let go.

    yeah, iactually i happned to purchase in on iTunes UK (dont know if it was released anywhere else). Also I’m not sure if there was a phisical version of it. But don’t regret not having it. It was sooooo boring. I can recall only one song from it – Iris (or sth like that).

    I loved her hurt ep and thought it was good. It’s just that it was three ballads. She an awesome singer who trying to find her voice and way. But of course management and her label SUCK!

    I’m thinking Fraser T Smith is the executive producer, because she just worked with Darkchild so clearly Fraser is not the only producer for the album now.

    I just think Syco is the shittest label ever, HOW can they not find a direction for Leona to go down mucically???
    Personally I love “Collide” and I think this may be her best album yet but with the mess Syco make of promo etc It might just flop and FYI her “Hurt” EP is AMAZING tbh, that is the kind of thing she should be doing on the album, people want big ballads from Leone and since Adele has dropped “21″ I think people are into the ballads again, she should perform one at the next Brit Awards and pray for a reaction like Adele got with “Someone like you”.

    I hope she’ll release something like Collide again. I don’t care if it flopped harder than Nicole Sherzy, I just love that song! I always feel so classy whenever I listen to it lmao.

    I love her so it makes me sad that she’s become so floptastic. I loved “collide” personally. Her albums all suck really bad though so I’m hoping this album can turn things around.

    Am I the only one that’s still checking for Leona Lewis? She’s amazing and she can sing. I love love love love “Collide”! Even though Leona’s isnt as popular as she used to be, I prefer her over Adele and Kelly Clarkson to be honest. I can’t wait for her album to come out.. even though it’s been pushed forward and back so many times.

    I still could not understand why Collide flopped. I mean it’s a very classy and high class song. If only the beat were original, it would be the second best after Bleeding Love.
