LEAKED: Timbaland – Shock Value II
Timbalands anticipated-then-hated new album Shock Value II has now leaked online.
I haven’t downloaded it yet but I did YouTube some of the songs and all I can say is that I’m extremely underwhelmed by what I’ve heard SO FAR, and a little shocked at how you can go from the fierceness of the first Shock Value to the mediocrity of Shock Value II.
I’ve included the surprisingly average Katy Perry assisted “If We Ever Meet Again” to listen to above since it was one of the very few tracks that hadn’t leaked online prior to the albums release.
How do you feel about Shock Value II? Are you disappointed or has Timbo delivered another winner?

It’s okay. There are a few good songs. Marching On, Undertow, and Ease off the Liquor are my favorites. If We Ever Meet Again and We Belong to Music are okay. The rest is shit.
It’s a flop. Timbaland got completely lazy for this album. I already tweeted about this on my twitter (DtheArtist). But, basically i feel like he went mainstream & he got really lazy. I felt like he put his priority in features on the album, to get people to want to buy the album. But, the album is a hot shitty ass mess. He got very lazy & just threw some shit together. Like Fergie Ferg say, he on that “2000 & late) (the beats, the production, the music); it all screams FLOP! BOMB! EPIC FAILURE!

Not impressed with this over-hype piece of shit so far….”Loosing Control” (feat. JoJo) is the best so far.

i dunno why people are doing such a big deal. there’s an edge to this album, u can listen to some sound evolution… HOWEVER of course it’s still some shock value sound, otherwise the album wasn’t called shock value II. right bitches?!

the deluxe edition will feature lady gaga, rihanna, madonna, gwen stefani, kings of leon and paramore!
miley is not very comfortable on that urban beat :S sounds a little bit out of place…. and timbo doesn’t even pronounce Miley correctly. LMAO!

katy perry track sounds good! but i hope she sticks to pop rock beats.

Shock Value is SO much better than this but there are standouts i really like

I only downloaded it for the B-Rocka and JoJo tracks. This album is ratchet. I was expecting so much more considering how great the first one was. It took me like 6 months after Shock Value 1′s release to listen to it and I loved it. I wish those rumored Gwen, Christina, Beyonce, T.I., Chris Brown and Rihanna collaborations were true and made the album. Oh well, here’s hoping they are on part 3.
He need to put Beyonce on all the songs he makes next time. It’ll be a sure platinum album with hella #1 hits and bangin’ ass videos and grammies and all types of awards and everyone will love it.

The album isn’t as consistent throughout as the first Shock Value, but it’s still pretty good. Hit-and-miss tracks to me, but the features alone are worth giving it a listen.

I didn’t care for the first one, but I actually love a lot of songs on this album. It is mainstream, but I don’t care, I’m loving it. He did a great job.
it’s true, he’s not only lazy, he’s also lack of creativity, every song instrument sounds cheap, his first album show better instrumental, if you listen carefully, some tracks also bad quality recorded, ex on daughtry featured, daughry voice sounds bad in here, also chad kroeger,

it’s not a baaad album, but like Rated R, you were just so hypeeeed for shock value 2, there no songs that blow you away like way i are or scream… infact the song with keri hilson on shock value 2 isnt all that…. again alright album, nothign exciting thou, im sure it can be a grower thou
the tracks with chad kroeger & sebastian, katy perry, daughtry, the fray & esthero, nelly furtado & soshy and the one with only timbaland (easy off the licor) (even I will like with some collabo this track cuz is hot) are the best tracks.

Brandy needs to just sing. Her singing is gold, rapping not so much. Her harmonies on the symphony track was vicious. I luv B-Rocka (Not Bran’Nu) but baby, stick to singing.
I am such a huge timbaland fan and thought shock value was amazing but this is just down right awful, how could he do this to us? I feel we were let down from such a talented artist.
