Lady GaGa ready to release third album in 2010

It girl Lady GaGa is the latest pop princess to announce that she’ll release her next studio album in 2010, with the Poker Face singer confirming the news in a recent interview.

The Fame Monster really is a new album, so I guess it’s kind of my second album, and then I’ll put out a third album I guess next year.”

GaGa will now join Beyonce, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and many others who are due to drop their next albums in 2010.

I’m not against a new GaGa record, but I hope she switches things up a little because I can’t handle hearing another version of “P-p-p-p-poker face” “rom ma ma ma ma” “m-m-m–monster”.

Brace yourselves for some serious LG overload for the next year or so, with the Lady already confirming that she’ll release four or more singles from The Fame Monster.

that’s fine with me! she keeps getting her new music out there and keeps promoting it, she’s always got something going on, never a dull moment. too bad more singers aren’t like her and really hustling their stuff like she is…but the success is obvious from it!

I haven’t listend to the Fame Monster yet but I’m still holding out for her to release “Starstruck” as a single, I still love that song and think it could do so well. it charts on US iTunes all the time.

  2. Azza316 Says:

4 or more singles from The Fame Monster? That’s like half the ‘album’. hahaha Gaga Overload FTW!

  3. TMM09 Says:

This news is soooo… old! bet that at the end of the day the comments section will be filled with britney comments… cause yeah you know… they feel threatend… the stans I mean.

  4. Andy Says:

No Britney fan feels threatend by gaga they are just annoyed by losers who keep comparing gaga to Britney, while she got nothing on Britney.

Anyway, I hope she changes her sound, I’ve been listening to The Fame Monster and it’s like I’m listening to ONE song the whole time. Bad Romance and Alejandro actually did grow on me, but that was for a couple of days and now I’m already tired of it.

She needs to bring it with this album, or she’ll be over and I’d hate for a tranny who works as hard as she/he does to end so soon.

  5. Dre Says:

lol, i completely agree with u TMM09. But i mean, even as a HUGE Gaga fan, i don’t know how this can be, unless she releases the album at the very end of 2010. Because if she has four succesful song, they’re gonna be about 3 or 4 months apart from release. Just look at how it took over a year for her first 4 singles from The Fame to spread out and be released. But i’m not saying i dont want any new Gaga music. Yall know i want all of her music. But yea, this just goes to show you that Gaga isnt going anywhere. and yall should definiately check out her interview on KISS FM:

  6. The Prophet Says:

Gaga stans and people in general seem to forget that Britney has surpassed being a “pop star”.

Whilst Pink, Christina, GaGa, Beyonce and co are releasing their little albums and singles, Britney has already cemented herself as not only one of the biggest female artists in history, but also as a pop culture icon and one of the biggest stars the world has ever seen.

  7. The Prophet Says:

Oh she talks about her new album in the seacrest interview! I might have to add some more to the post.

  8. Dre Says:

yea it’s a really good interview. She’s really funny. I still dont see how you dont like her personality Proph, i mean she brings something new to the table and she switches things up and makes them different. I know you say that she’s a spoiled little girl who quotes her influences as David Bowie and Andy Warhol, but can’t u see past that? Her artistry is something we havent seen in a long time and i love how she takes risks. I think most of the people who dont like her, are the ones that take her waaay too seriously. Like i was talking with some friends at a party tonight and they said that they didnt like Gaga because she’s “weird” but that’s because 1. they’re used to gangsta rap and baggy pants. and 2. they can’t see beyond the norm.

ok so i honestly don’t know where this rant came from (it’s almost 6 in the morning here in Texas and i’m not sleepy yet).

and Beyonce has surpassed being a pop star as well. She’s a super star! i know u dont like the woman, but you can’t deny the fact that Beyonce is a mega star.

  9. The Prophet Says:

Of course Beyonce is a megastar! But she isn’t an icon like Britney. She isn’t a staple of pop culture. She hasn’t sold what Britney has or had the same impact as Brit.

GaGa isn’t weird at all. I think that’s her problem! She just comes across as desperate and fame hungry. She has so many talents so I wish she’d leave the focus on them instead of putting it on other stupid stuff.

I saw this interview with her once where she said even when she sleeps its art. Judging by those old videos of her she’s either somebody who sold out for success and is in on the joke, and it’s all a big game to her, or she’s been sucked in and believes her own hype and has an enormous ego.

Her personality is enough for me to not like her. She’s so similar to Perez in that spoilt pretentious way, I’m so not surprised that they’re BFF’s.

I’ll give her more chances though. I’ll see what happens with her music and personality. At the moment her music still hasn’t reached the quality of janet, madonna, Aguilera’s first two albums or Britney’s discography. We’ll see.

  10. Dre Says:

Proph, you have to take into consideration that Beyonce came out as a solo artist in 2003 and as Destiny’s child around the same time as Brit. If you want to be fair, you’ve gotta add the sales from DC with her solo career, because as we all know, record sales have declined dramatically! Britney isn’t going Diamond like she used to. and it has nothing to do with the quality of their music or the decline or increase in fans, but the simple fact that not everyone is ‘buying’ music anymore. i completely disagree with you when you say that Beyonce hasn’t reached a level such as Britney’s. there are sooo many references to Beyonce and her music in pop culture that it’s crazy! i don’t even know where to start! i’m not picking sides because i love them both, but i give credit where credit is due. Just do me a favor and name some ways Britney has more of an impact than Beyonce. (and just for the record, i’m not a hater, i eat sleep and breathe pop music. i love britney. Blackout is the shit! but i’m not gonna let my negative feelings for an artist over shadow my judgment in their artist and music.)

  11. Andy Says:

Ok I think it defenetly is NOT fair to put beyonce in the same leaque as Britney. Beyonce is doing great, she is very populair, but she is not an icon like Britney is. Tell me ONE thing that beyonce has done that left a great impression behind in the general eye without a reference of copying someone else!
Come on she steal music and claims she’s written them by herself, she copies a lot of other artist and claims it was HER OWN IDEA.

Britney on the other hand is a original girl who is doing amazing, she has a lot to say about her own music and video’s, she always comes with the concepts, she doesnt claim anything to be hers. Britney in fact is one of the most underrated artist out there. She shits on everyone especially during 2000-2004 and yet no award ceremony gave her any recognition nor did the general people. After her breakdown everyone is starting to complain and miss what she has done in the past. Britney made a great impact in pop culture, I dont think I have to write anything down, caus eyou probably know yourself. From the moment she did Baby One More Time, a legend was born, name ONE artist of her generation who has done the same.

I’m so tired of people comparing EVERY SINGLE ARTIST TO Britney, I mean come on, that alone says enough about Britney Spears’ level. if she wasnt bigger than all the other ones, then why would their fans compare their favs to Brit all the time?

I agree with Prophet, I used to like gaga when she came out, but the more I learned about her, the more I started to dislike her. She was all about the fame and I was like, come on you are a great singer, you made some great pop records, show the world there is more than meets the eye, but I guess she’s already lost.

  12. Marko P Says:

LOVE GAGA!!! Love all her songs! I hope she just keeps up this way! :)

  13. Darwin Says:

It’s not about who’s doing great now. It’s about who has been kicking bitch’s ass since she was 17!

Notice this, with NO promo “3″ DEBUTED at #1, and has stayed top 10 for months, no other bitch can do that. Cuz it’s Britney.
Quite frankly Britney could release a song just her saying HI and it would be a hit.

  14. Yumm Says:

This bitch is so overexposed as it is, now she’s gonna release another album next year……people are going to get sick of her…..she’s going to kill her career which is fine with me…..goodbye miss annoying!

  15. Darwin Says:

When GaGa, Christina, Beyonce, Madonna, etc can debut at #1 with no promotion, let me know.

Cuz as far as I know, “princess” GaGa can’t even debut @top 5 with her single. Which then almost fell out of the top 20 the second week.

  16. Daniel Says:

Prophet dont forget Keyshia Cole’s album is coming out also in 2010 even though she cant compete with these mega super stars lol

  17. Robier Says:

Wow next yr wit Bey, Gaga, Brit, Letoya, Christina, Janet its gonna be interesting

  18. Alex Says:

All I’m hoping for for gaga is that her music style changes and doesn’t sound anything like the fame did

As for britney the ricaa needs to certify blackout gold before her next album

  19. ImHighPrice Says:

    @Jeff
I love “Starstruck” as well, she need to release that (but without Flo-Rida)

Hmmm…I can take some more GaGa but I don’t want The Fame 2…& 4 or more singles off of “The Fame Monster”??? That’s unnecessary milking! Oh well, she better release “Monster” as a single.

  20. Daniel Says:

I TOTALLY AGREE with ImHighPrice! I have been waiting for ever to see if “Starstruck” would be released fater Flo-rida had his success with “Right round” Her song would defiantly be# 1!

I hope Lady gaga goes URBAN with little bit of pop or soul, she HAS to CHANGE her sound someday cause it will get boring! She needs to cross over and try new genres like Rihanna! Lady Gaga has an AMAZING vocal range and i wonder how many octaves she has?? Overall i need to hear a NEW kind sound of pop music from her.

  21. Lisa Says:

GaGa needs to sit her ass down, but i guess she would have to constantly put out music, because people would forget about her. i am so excited for new albums by brit, christina and janet. brit definitely had her grind on for her first 5 years, but it wasn’t until ITZ that she actually put out a good album. christina is on a different level than bey, gaga and brit though. when brit, bey and gaga gon get asked to sing with other legends like andrea bocelli, patti, tony bennett, herbie hancock, etc. B2B solidified her as one of the greats, so stop hatin.

  22. Dre Says:

    @ Lisa
ur right, B2B was the best!

  23. Johnta Says:

    @Lisa
sooo true. Beyonce will continue to make collaborations with GaGa and the like while Christina will perform with true legendary talents and voices. thats why Christina doesn’t have very many features or collaborations, who else is on her level musically?!

  24. NYC1 Says:

    @ Lisa

Um, Britney was asked by Micheal fuckin Jackson to perform with her at his anniversary concert. That alone beats out anyone Christina has and will ever get asked to perform with. Britney is in her own leauge, the rest are simply just pop stars.

  25. Lisa Says:

@ NYC1, I said legends – plural. Just because MJ was great does not mean everyone he liked was great. And there are other great musicians out there besides MJ that have made an impact. While Britney was concerned with being a popstar, Christina was concerned with becoming a legend. Christina can tear the house down sitting on a stool with a mic in her hand or do a full out dance routine and knock em dead. Beyonce tried, but she just doesn’t catch people’s attention unless she’s shaking her ass. Britney and Christina are both legends, though. Their individual strengths have produced a million wannabe’s that want to dance like Britney or sing like Christina. They are both incredible entertainers and I can’t wait to see what they give us in the next 10 years.

  26. The Prophet Says:

I agree Lisa but Xtina fell off with B2B. She lost the momentum that she had after Stripped, and now she’s pushing 30 with a kid. She needs to have another huge album to cement herself again, because right now Beyonce is bigger than her and that’s a problem.

  27. tupey Says:

I don’t think Gaga’s album will do that well. I can’t wait for new Britney and Christina.

  28. westside Says:

I kinda agree with Dre here Prophet. While Beyonce may not have made as big as an impact on pop culture as Britney, she has definitely made her mark on today’s music industry and is already an icon, especially within the black and gay communities. Both are pop icons in my opinion, just one(britney) is bigger than the other(beyonce). But Beyonce is the biggest black artist out today though, so kudos to her.

  29. Duffster(: Says:

oh no! I hate the people who calls Gaga the next princess of pop! C’mon!
and beyonce, please! I am sasha fierce, I am sasha fierce deluxe edition, I am sasha fierce platinum edition, I am yours! REALLY? chill out beyowulf! why I’m gonna miiss you when you never left! just do movies likee Obsessed
and britneey I can’t wait! I love 3, but I just need somethin’ more personal like dignity[Duffster] btw I miss Hilary Duff :(

[...] The hardest working girl in the business, Lady GaGa, has been talking about releasing her third album sometime in 2010 [Prophet Blog] [...]

  31. Kay Says:

LOL….i think that is kinda crazy…but im not complaining….can’t get enough of gaga….love her….and 4 singles from the fame moster, that is like half the album LMFAO….WTF gaga rule….LOL!!! It looks like another year ahead of gaga LOL!!! Ah luv it…hehe!!!

  32. GaGaMonster Says:

GaGa will continue her career the same way Madonna has. She’s on a different level than Brit just as Xtina is on a different level, because they are all in music for a different reason. GaGa is a truly inspiring person and just like the fans Brit and Xtina have, me and the rest of GaGa’s monsters will never let her music die.

  33. Bekah Says:

i agree with you GaGaMonster. Lady GaGa will continue her career the same way madonna has. the 8 new singles on “the fame monster” album are about her fears which shows that her songs are true and personal. people might think she is weird but she isnt, she just has a unique style which is what other artists need. have you noticed how other female artists have tried to be like her? im a big GaGa fan and im certain that her music will never be forgotten.

  34. Jeff Says:

I’m sure Lady GaGa’s 3rd album will be BIG and BETTER… but i still love the fame and the fame monster, i can’t stop listening to it since it was released last 2008, until now i am singing just dance and the other singles from it and i also love ALL songs in the fame monster. I am really amazed with lady gaga cause she can change style, whether ballad or pop dance. she can do it! i love her especially when she’s live. I believe she really is the new Queen Of Pop, you’ll see…

No offense brit/xtina fans, i also loved them but when i met gaga i never listened to them ever again, i think gaga is more talented..

and also her style is unique in a very good way. every outfit she wears is a surprise, and she can combine music and fashion. that is wat i call talent. GaGa is the most famous and popular singer right now on the planet and it will continue… GAGA FOREVER!

  35. Jack Says:

I’m not surprised if she releases a new album or not in 2010, because she seems uncertain about releasing it but electropop is now dominating Top 40 (replacing Hip-Hop) and her management may be cashing in on current trends.

Since pop has came back (now electropop, in the late 90s it was teen pop, and in the 80s it was synthpop), A LOT of pop-leaning artists are rushing to release their material in 2010. Who exactly? Well there’s Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Usher, Katy Perry, Ciara, Pussycat Dolls, Nelly Furtado, and possibly Justin Timberlake (he says he makes an album every 4 years; the last one was released in 2006). Yeah, that’s a mouthful.

By the end of 2010, we’ll see how these artists have fared in this new electropop phase and how the genre itself has fared. Hopefully the public will give electropop a longer period of interest just like synthpop had in the 80s (from 1982-1991) and not a brief flash like teen pop in the 90s (from 1998-2001).

One thing you have to admit (for any fan or hater of Lady Gaga) is that Lady Gaga really shook up Top 40 into liking electronic/dance music and abandoning the aggressive sounds of hip-hop in the early and mid 2000s. I think Lady Gaga and Kesha seem to be at the forefront of electropop, we’ll now how the genre is performing if these girls decline in sales/popularity.

  36. GagaTrigger Says:

Proph and Andy are ridiculous. Are you fucking serious? Beyonce is a HUGE HIT. Briteny is a EXCELLENT artist. But look who kept it together? Briteny is like seriously not who she used to be. Her voice is not that shown in her new songs and Beyonce’s is! You dont look past the old britney to the new. Beyonce kept a nice profile and is a QUEEN now. Britney couldnt keep herself together and now is downhill.

Lady Gaga is next. She’s an incredible artist and it’s unfair for you to say she stuck up. And watch her interview with Fuse. She says people tend to think women are arrogant when they get into a HIGH popularity in their work. Gaga says that she might come across arrogant sometimes but shes not. The fame for her is her dream and she doesnt worry about herself and the fame, but for her fans. She sings like a pop artist should and her “freakiness” is just something that makes her better. Accept her and who she is and stop being little immature brats about BRITNEY.

Beyonce is a HUGE icon. “If I Were A Boy” has had a HUGE impact. DId Britney win a grammy this year? Absolutely not. Because she wont step up and be the old Britney.

Lady Gaga and Beyonce and Britney are all WONDERFUL artists. Get OVER it!

  37. JJ Kale Says:

Gaga is going to flood the charts no matter who steps up to the plate with their “new sound.”

Gaga is a marketing machine of talent who will continue to improve the Haus of Gaga design concepts.

All the other players have to crank out new albums because Gaga is pushing it to a completely new level.

Watch out Broadway cuz Haus of Gaga will make a pop/rock opera in memory of Freddie Mercury …..

  38. GagaTrigger Says:

THANK YOU JJ Kale. At least someone doesnt complain about Gaga on a GAGA inspired web page.
