Kylie stanning for Madonna…

One legend stanning for another legend.

Doin’ what yo’ faves cannot.

Kylie also talks about being a flop in America. I mean, damn, Body Language was a semi-R&B album and you people still didn’t buy it. No taste, I tell you.

    So humble! <3 <3 <3

  • Astroboi09

it’s so refreshing to hear a popstar speaking so candidly about her career. and she didn’t even need to put anyone down. love love love kylie!

It’s a damn shame that she’s never been that big in America, especially considering that she makes better pop music than about 95% of the pop stars active on the Billboard charts today. It’s criminal that Body Language, X, Aphrodite, Light Years and Impossible Princess got pretty much ignored. She deserved better. But at least she’s candid about it. She’s a legend in my eyes.

    Don’t forget Fever! ;)

“I suppose without that…I’ve done pretty well!” < that was the sweetest "FUCK YOU" I've ever heard LOL

I've worshiped this woman since I was 14 years old. She doesn't need the US IMO

  • SerferTJ

lol, I remember when she released “All I See” in 2008 in the US and it flopped, and moths later Jordin Sparks’ “One Step At A Time” became a hit!!!
It was practically the SAME SONG! LoL!

Kylie seems like such a sweet person in real life!
And isn’t Kylie like the European version of Madonna? idk much about Kylie’s history, but they seem like they’re equals at this point!

Fever was the only album that was successful… And ‘X’ was pop PERFECTION… Just amazing

  • J2201987

What’s funny is that Kylie has achieved ALOT without any significant success here, than what most American pop artists have achieved worldwide.

  • Shady1

Who the fuck is Kylie? Lmao!

  • Anonymous

One of the most successful female artists of all time.

Record sales reaching almost 70 million, Grammy winner, gay icon, pop legend, only artist in UK history to have a #1 album in four different decades.

    Why do you ask?

  • Justsaying

MMMMMM FIRST, AMERICA ISNT ONLY USA,UNTIL I KNOW AMERICA BEGINS IN ALASKA AND FINISHES IN ARGENTINA, SECOND, KYLIE IS VERY POPULAR AND KNOWN IN SEVERAL COUNTRIES OF AMERICA

  • Peppermint Patti

In pop culture the term “America” usually refers to the United States while every other country is denoted or acknowledged by it’s name. So no, Kylie es no popular in America.

  • Alex K

     The flawless queen duh

  • Alex K

X is the only major pop album from the 00s (2000-2009) that rivals Britney’s Blackout.

    Except that it doesn’t since

    1) The ‘ballads’ are horrible.
    2. Fever is better
    3. Body Language is better.

It’s still an amazing album though. Kween Kylie!

  • Justin Mejos

I actually didn’t know Kylie was a mega flop in America. She was actually popular here in Asia a few years back and her songs were hits here. I grew up thinking she was American. FAIL.

Kylie is one of my fave artist 4 life <3.

  • AnKkA

Queen Of The Whole Fucking Universe!! I just love KM!

  • Talkintrue

madonna also stans for kylie, she actually wears her tour shirts.

  • http://twitter.com/JasShanel J.S.H. √

I actually was obsessed with Fever when it came out…good times lol I didnt realize that she was a flop here, oops lol

Well, to be fair, Madonna has stanned for Kylie before. Didn’t she gain some press for performing in a “Kylie Minogue” shirt years ago?

Anyway, Kylie > Madonna. And I will forever hate this country for not embracing her. Kylie is the supreme example of an iconic artist who constantly evolves her sound while staying true to her core. No matter what sound she’s going for, her music ALWAYS sounds 100% Kylie.

Unlike Modonna, who just crotch-rides whatever sound (or accent) is hot at the moment.

And I’m glad that you pointed out that “Body Language” is a semi-R&B album, because it is! My friends and I always debate this. Personally, I love all of Kylie’s music, but I REALLY LOVE whenever she experiments with R&B. There were a few R&B tracks on “X” too.And “Chocolate” has always been one of my top 5 favorite Kylie songs.

  • Shady1

No1Curr…she aint poppin’ in the states so….

  • Anonymous

Lol you ijit. The United States aren’t the end-all, be-all in music.

    And nobody says No1Curr anymore.

  • Truth

What an incredibly humble woman. Total MILF too

  • a_chan

It’s too bad that Aphrodite was too classy of a pop album to gain mainstream success. Everything about it was brilliant but it was a near worldwide flop :(

  • Devoted_Lamb

She’s always beem huge here in Spain, no matter what. Such a class act. We love ourselves some Kylie.

  • xxx

just saw her aphrodite tour dvd and she’s so much more likeable than madonna… you can even see it during the concert. her dancers and singers look like they were having just fun and that they are satisfied with the work climate. kylie really seems like the boss everyone would like to have

as for madonna – her shows are great, but the emotions between her and her dancers seem so forced and not natural

and so what with kylie not being successful in america? she is an icon without it…so i guess she could do worse

  • Shady1

    No1Curr lol

  • Shady1

What the hell is an ijit?

    LMAO you’re a dumbass. Bye.
