Kelly Rowland melts in steamy “Ice” music video, remains better than Beyonce

Kelly Rowland can’t do much more than oversexed R&B these days, but that’s okay, because she does it so damn well. She killed it in “Motivation”, killed it in “Representin’”, and now she’s killin’ it again with her latest single, “Ice”.

I was concerned that K-Row was going to push her unparallelled sex appeal to trashy new limits in the “Ice” music video, but for the most part, the shining jewel of Destiny’s Child keeps things relatively classy. I mean, she walks a thin fucking line, but she manages to work it like government hooker without resorting to extreme closeups of her vagina or doing whatever tacky shit it was that Beyonce did in “Video Phone”. Ms. Kelly looks more beautiful than ever before (yes, even in that damn Ru Paul wig and burlesque drag queen get-up), and she was not playing when it came to the choreography. For someone who isn’t a dancer, she really twerked out some smooth moves like a pro. I guess after 10 years of seeing a solo Beyonce dance up a storm on stage, Kelly finally pulled her finger out and decided to catch up.

Now that LeToya’s short-lived but flawless music career seems to have come to an end and Michelle continues to be Michelle, it looks like Rowlegend is back to being my favorite DC member. How could she not be with all these steamy sex jams?

    First time listening to the song. Its very HOT. The video seemed a bit on a budget but she werked it and twerked it. She looked beautiful young and sexy (unlike Bey). The choreo was ok I guess.

    I like the song and the video but both seem like cheaper versions of “Motivation” tbh, Kelly does the sex thing very well and there were some great things in here (dice throw / twerk ) but it seems like she was like “Oh Motivation was a hit, lets make another as close as possible” she should have stepped more outside of that… overall I like it though.

I personally don’t hate the woman and I don’t see how someone can actually hate, a very strong word, a person they never met but Beyonce also has a lot of people who love her. As for Kelly, the song sucks and the video is not good. She is not better than Beyonce to me, but I wish her well.
