Ke$ha lines up “Sleazy” as future single?

Remember that awesome remix of Ke$ha’s “Sleazy” featuring Andre 3000 that leaked the other day? Well it turns out that it could be the third single from Ke$ha’s mini-album Cannibal, as a new e-mail from Ke$ha’s official mailing list sent to fans to promote the UK release of “We R Who We R” specifically refers to the Andre-assisted song as a “forthcoming single”.

Prior to this e-mail being sent out, a completely unconfirmed rumor began floating on the Popjustice forums that Ke$ha would be shooting a music video for “Sleazy” back-to-back with the video for her next official single “Blow”. Still, take that with a grain of salt for now, but it’s interesting that that was said and then the RCA e-mail about “Sleazy” was sent out.

I hope it’s true — the world would be a better place with “Sleazy” in it. Rat-ta-tat-tat on ya dum-dum-drum…

Anyway, if you’re in the UK you’ll finally be able to purchase “We R Who We R” on January 23. To reward English fans for waiting for so long, the song will also be packaged in a digital iTunes EP with “Sleazy” and two remixes of “Animal”.

Sweet.

WAW! It’s amazing! We won’t stay to a bad impression of that fucking bad Label RCA!
First they take all royalties from Ke$ha and then they choose her single! Not fair as said @Prophet..
So now I really hope to have a very good music video for “Blow”+”Sleazy” shot in Hawaii..

  • :-)

I really think she should release The Harold Song!

  • http://twitter.com/mistercarter7 m.i.k.e.

the only other song that could be a hit and should be a single is Cannibal, the rest is not single worthy if u ask me

  • Angemécanique

The Harold Song is pure gold, and it would do her good to shift her style a little.

  • Becca

it’s about time they released the best track from the EP. “sleazy” is probably my fave $ track ever!

and what’s up with all the “Harold Song” love? it’s the EXACT SAME SONG as “Blind”. THE CHORUS IS IDENTICAL. SMH.

Well this was a big “DUH” moment. With her “Get Sleazy Tour” and a new remix…it only makes sense.
But that can wait. We hav more important things to worry about cuz “THIS PLACEEE ABOUT TO BLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW”!!!!!

    @a.d.R.I.a.n.
    LMAO!!!!!! *dead* xD

  • MUSIC LOVER

I highly doubt Ke$ha will be releasing “The Harold Song.”

After “Blow” I think she should release “Cannibal” and “Sleazy” as her last single (slated for the summer).

    Then release her 2nd LP.

  • UnusualBritney

    Good

and then she can bring Harold out.

    @ SerferTJ,

I agree with you. It makes sense now. I’m sure the label wanted to get a 2nd single “Blow” lined up when the Andre 3000 remix was uncertain OR they are choosing a “safety single” for pop radio, in case releasing “Sleazy (Andre 3000 Remix)” doesn’t work to appeal to the urban market and pop radio.

I’ll be watching to see how this promotion and chart performance turns out. It’ll be interesting to see what the mainstream audience thinks of this new hip-hop influence in Ke$ha’s “Sleazy”.
