Ke$ha Invites Us Into the Wonderful World of Her Magical Pussy in “C’Mon” Music Video

Ke$ha has officially atoned for the visual sin that was the “Die Young” music video with the clip for her latest single, “C’Mon”.

Thank you, Jesus.

The Kween has finally got her sense of humor back, playing a white trash diner waitress who quits her job and finds herself in a psychedelic, furry-filled universe after jumping into a magical hippie van driven by an enormous pussycat. The heavily sixties-themed clip taps into Ke$ha’s core message of free love and fun, highlighting everything that makes the dumpster diva so damn great. It’s a huge step up from “Die Young”, which basically highlighted everything that’s wrong with pop music today.

“C’Mon” recently bulleted 97-65 on the Billboard Hot 100, so hopefully it’s on its way to becoming a “T.G.I.F.” sized feel-good party anthem. We all know how bad Ke$ha needs this right now.

    I just kinda fell out of love with Ke$ha. Overall, I’m kind of bored of her schtick and trying to be excited about K$ acting like a one-trick-pony.
    And I preferred the Animal/Cannibal albums to “Warrior”

    Love it! Ke$ha’s best when she’s let loose. Die Young was too stylized and choreographed which aren’t exactly two terms I’d use to describe. The crazier and wackier the better when it comes to K$!

    Yeah, I’ve been over this bitch since Die Young dropped. The video sealed the deal for me. And then the statement about being ‘forced,’ followed by this opposite video that comes off trying too hard to remain relevant with the same type of pop tunes released in the past without showing her true artistic abilities. Yeah, I’m done with Kesha. The new music isn’t as good as the last album’s. It’s almost the same but boring.

    If she doesn’t start making/promoting her individuality with music she wants rather than the label’s, she’s gonna continue losing fans gradually and no one to buy these records but her hardcore stans remaining.

    Doesn’t matter. She’s made tons of money and left a dint on pop culture as our current party girl but that can only go so far. If her money runs out, she has her mother’s, who’s an awesome previously successful songwriter.

    Only yesterday I realized that you can replace the lyrics in the verses from this song for the chorus from tik tok. She just changed a little and put some Brokenhearted by Karmin in the middle (which sounded already like a Kesha leftover from the 1st album).

    So I’m one of the 7 people who actually bought her album and I don’t like this video. Still support her, but every video feels like they make her try way too hard… I hate it… How funny the $tephan video was, that’s how lame this one is… The ‘we are young and destroying someone’s store’ isn’t that impressing.

    Ya, I’m sorry to all her fans … It’s no offense, but I just don’t buy her “Im being forced to sing what I don’t want” shtick. She’s entertaining for what she is… But this is all ke$ha is gonna be. She had one successful album… ‘Cannibal’ was a huge decline in sales … And ‘Warrior’ was dead on arrival.     Well at the very least shes going to make a lot from the royalties of ‘tik tok’ since its the 2nd best selling digital single of all time (in the world)
    She was so fresh when she came out thats why she was such a big hit to begin with, people always forget why we fall in love with megastars in the first place but right at the start they always have that magic that you cant explain. Anyway, its obvious the label didn’t like the direction the album was going in and got her to add in some formulaic tracks- she had set it up to be some 70s experimental electronic pop rock recording however it was just the 3rd re-release of Animal.

    Agreed. I think ‘Past Lives’ is simply stunning … One of the best things she’s ever done… I don’t see her topping it. The rest of ‘Warrior’ is garbage. It’s fun garbage at times, thanks to ‘C’Mon’, ‘Supernatural’, and ‘Only Wanna Dance With You’… Still cheap, typical music though

    Warrior isn’t garbage at all. Not only is a great pop/hook album, the lyrics are really funny and it has a subtle eclecticism. Like “Only Wanna Dance With You” which was done with The Strokes. It’s such a cute, feel-good pop song but you can also clearly hear The Strokes influence in it.

    People are on a bit of an anti-Ke$ha thing right now because of Die Young but Warrior is actually a great pop album and better than any of the other big pop albums released.

    trash-pop perfection. complete respect to this chic after this single and video – owning her niche, i so appreciate that. it’s like katy perry knowing her sound, same to rihanna… when they find that “sweet spot” (singles teenage dream and we found love, respectively) it’s been chart dominance all around and i hope the same for this song here!

    also – anyone else see some xtina your body video similarities?… only… no one wants to see xtina (luv you, girl) so over the top trashy that it makes kesha look like class. poor girl.

    Mmmm…. K. I’m glad you like it. The lyrics may be funny in spots… But it’s still cheap, trash pop. Same typical producers. I didn’t say it’s all bad though. Like I said, I Stan for ‘Past Lives’, because that song is a representation of what Ke$ha really could be if she’d quit churning out garbage. It’s clear I’m not the only one with this opinion either. Her abysmal album sales speak for them self. I did keep these few tracks though, before deleting the rest… I call the playlist ‘Warrior… as it Should’ve Been’

    i love how much ke$ha embraces her trashiness and that’s all i have to say about this release. i’m not a fan of the song, but the video is fun and very in tune with the style we’re used to seeing from her.
