Ke$ha Confirms “C’mon” as Second Warrior Single

Ke$ha‘s Warrior promo single, “C’mon”, has just been upgraded to official second single status. The legendary songstress cryptically confirmed the news on Twitter earlier today during a chat with iTunes.

“C’mon” is one of those songs that you first hear and go, “Ugh! Typical Ke$ha,” but then you to say yourself, “Wait a minute — typical Ke$ha is OFF DA HEEZY!!!!” followed by some pussy popping and twirling around the living room. The glittery dance-pop anthem is a shoe-in for heavy airplay and big digital downloads, although, just like “Die Young”, I worry that by releasing the most typically top forty tunes from Warrior, Ke$ha will remain a singles artist and be unable to shift a respectable number of albums.

We can only pray that the masses pick up Ke$ha’s latest pop masterpiece when it slays stores next week. Or perhaps the Kween will start off slow like Katy Perry, and then reel in all the haters, one by one, with radio-friendly hit after radio-friendly hit, until eventually she’s the #1 chick in the game.

Omg I just can’t. Kween$ha world domination is coming I can feel it :’(

The album is SOLID. Hands down one of the best albums of the years and easily her best. I’m hoping she gets the same success that Katy did with Teenage Dream cause she deserves it after this. Also, waiting until “Warrior” comes and slays and shuts down the radio. It’s a shame that “Out Alive” was only a bonus track though.

This track is so meh, I’m sure there are better tracks on the album that would have made for a better single. Same with Rihanna. Apparently Pour It Up is the next single. Btches been drinking too much.

  • Muziqjunkie

She needs to release Crazy Kids!!!! That song is the fucking shit!!!

  • Gia

Agreed. A lot of the tracks are catchy and interesting and this only
from a 25-second snippet, which is kind of rare. Still, I think C’Mon is like 5th single
    material, not 2nd.

LOL @ that gif! This song is okay. Wish there was some Sleazy. That’s one Kesha tune I don’t mind banging, though honestly her delivery sells all of her songs to me so I really just cave in and play them all. *You can’t imagine the immensity of the fuck I’m not giving*

Wish it was supernatural, that’s her best song ever.

  • Andi

“Crazy Kids” should have been the second single, just sayin’.

  • KENNY G

HER ALBUM LEAKED AND ITS AMAZING I WILL BE BUYING IT WHEN IT COMES OUT

  • Joey

It’s boring me…and I hate to say it cause the rest of the album for the most part is great…

  • http://www.twitter.com/themusicprophet The Music Prophet

God dammit that GIF! Dead. Emma Stone… I just crave her.

As much as it pains me to admit this, and by pains me I mean it feels like someone literally wrapped a chain of Barbed wire around my balls and yanked them, I must say I actually like several cuts from ‘Warrior’. Overall I don’t think it’s any better than a 3 star album … There’s way too many generic cuts … However, the bonus cut ‘Past Lives’ is slaying my fucking existence. Plus, ‘Supernatural’, ‘Crazy Kids’ and ‘Thinking About You’ though generic, are sooo catchy.

Plus, ‘Only Wanna Dance With You’ is fucking flawless. Dammit Krap$ha.. I wanted so bad to hate it… I truly did.

The album has some great music, the beats are insane at times. But the songs are so redundant and frivolous. As with most pop nowadays, the producers are the real magicians, and they just need Kesha’s persona to drive it all. Her songwriting is the weakest aspect of her music. But if I ignore her songs, the album is cray in the best way imaginable. If it’s one of the best pop releases (which it is) it’s bc of it’s own merits and the heaps of crap that’s been released. But Lana still reigns as Pop Queen of 2012.

I like the album A LOT; it’s not at all bad, it perfectly straddles the line between top 40 and being innovative without being an arsehole (*cough* Lady Gaga *cough*). But that’s why I’m SO disappointed by this choice of second single – it’s generic, it’s in no way different from what she’s done in the past. And I get it, it’ll probably sell well, it’s a safe bet, but it’d be so good to see Kesha do something a bit more surprising and convince everyone that she actually is talented and that she’s famous for something other than being hammered all the time and queefing glitter.

nooooo!! the iggy pop song its 1000000 better

  • Alex

I’ve had the stream on itunes on repeat and she really did deliver. She also didn’t lie when she said the album would be ~rock~ inspired. I agree completely. C’mon, is def more promotional then 2nd single. I was banking on All That Matters of the title track but I’m sure she’s saving those since they’re certified smashes.

  • Abe

I think I’m the only one that really pressed over what she did to OWDWY. The demo is 100x better (lyrics wise since the music is essentially the same).

  • SerferTJ

I’m a semi fan, But doesn’t this makes 8 phuckin singles in a row with the same exact sound? Over 3 albums?? And we’re encouraging this??? http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m0ucmi6PwM1qatyv7o1_400.gif

She’s far too early in her career to plateau into the same on-trend sound. It makes SOME sense for P!nk and Usher cuz they have a legacy to keep up, but Ke$ha is just to scuuuuured to flop. She’s essentially reaching to be the next Pitbull or Flo Rida, rather than the next Kelly C or Gwen Stefani.

The album is really good and she obviously experimented with rock, but if she’s gonna keep the same spunk-pop singles, who’s going to notice?

  • ke$lay

All That Matters (The Beautiful Life) better be a single!

  • http://www.twitter.com/themusicprophet The Music Prophet

No i’m with you …. lyrically the demo was better, however, I still love the song …. I think the production is great, and i’m a HUGE strokes fan …. so it’s nice to see a little bit of that ‘rock vibe’ she hyped up

  • TLo

SHE SHOULD RELEASE ‘PAST LIVES’ AS HER SINGLE BECAUSE THAT SONG SCREAMS THE STAR-QUALITY OF KWEEN KE$HA *SHAKING AND CRYING*

  • vjx89

Her album is really good, although its seems flat and unevolved to me. C’mon is dangerously similar to die young but i think it’ll be a minor hit on the charts. However i really don’t see her slaying the world and snatching wigs with this song.

  • musicdude

whatever, as generic as everyone says it is..c’mon is a great track. its kesha at her finest. witty fun lyrics and a great beat to dance too. the bridge is BEAUTIFUL. its kinda like kesha’s version of teenage dream by katy perry

  • hebehemonkey

Am I the only sad horny lonely little man that noticed a mysterious liquid is dripping from her chin and the title of the song is Come on… plus the title blatantly spells out semen (c-mon)? Or maybe that’s just k-money getting me all hot and bothered…

  • TrianglesInTheSky

“Crazy Kids” screams for 2nd single and “Supernatural” for the 3rd.

  • http://www.facebook.com/bryanmounce Bryan

At first I read this and thought “I’d never be pussy popping and twirling around the living room” to this and then after a couple listens I was pussy popping and twirling around the living room. You truly are a prophet, huh?

  • Jay

I only liked one song off the album :/ and it wasn’t this one

  • daniel

her new album is AMAZING!!! Ive been stalking it all day :)

  • Popblock

It’s painful to see an album that has so much good material take a wrong turn… this is the most boring safest single choice they could have chosen. There are about 5 other song choices that could really do some work on the radio.. and they choose this. I knew it was going to happen.. every time an artist releases a “promo” single these days it becomes the next real one.

  • Wil

Is it just me, or has this song written GLEE all over it

  • http://www.joey-nation.blogspot.com/ Joey

Bought a physical copy today and have listened to 2/3′s of it a few times and am well and truly in love with it. It’s so good! Legend$ha never fails to place, and Warrior is a great step up from Cannibal. Though obviously it’s a bit same-y/P!nk-y what-with releasing the same song over and over, I’d like to think the songs that overall the album does reflect a fairly broad range of styles/genres, which is why “Die Young v.2″ aka. “C’Mon” isn’t really gonna do Slay$ha too many favours. Ah well, hopefully she’ll prove me wrong.

    That track is terrible. Wow…

  • ThePhoenixisBack
