Kanye West and his ego deliver explosive ‘Power’ performance at the BET Awards.
Making his first televised ‘performance’ since the MTV VMA’s fiasco, Kanye West made an explosive statement today at the 2010 BET Awards.
Performing his brand new single ‘Power’, Kanye lit up the stage on top of a giant erupting volcano, with a backdrop of majestic mountain peaks behind him. The controversial rapper was obviously trying to send the message of, “Hey, I’m king of the mountain! I’m the best ya’ll!”, but right now that accolade is probably best reserved for Eminem, who is predicted to have first-week sales of 750k for his new album ‘Recovery‘.
What did you think of Kanye’s grande entrance? Too egotistical, or completely justified? I’m still processing it all and trying to make up my mind!

Loved it! Kanye is the King. Forget Em and his botox face. He’s lucky he has such a loyal fanbase, because his album sucks. I haven’t liked him since 2003. Kanye will deliver his 5th classic!
