Justin Timberlake Performs “Mirrors” at Brit Awards, Continues Wearing a Suit & Tie Everywhere He Goes

I did not like Justin Timberlake‘s Brit Awards performance! I can’t take all this singin’ and sangin’ with an over-confident JT in his little suit and his little tie struttin’ around like his shit don’t stank (which it doesn’t, but still). The retro concept is boring and I miss Justin’s dancing — especially since he’s one of the only American pop stars that actually can dance.

Remember the 2003 Brits when Justin slayed the stage and then grabbed Kylie’s donk? I need some more of that. I’m not here for Justin doing the dapper thing and thinking he’s too classy to twerk or wear a pair of jeans. Especially since he already rocked the suit & tie concept for his last album.

BTW: “Suit & Tie” is still the second best pop song of 2013, “Mirrors” is great, and The 20/20 Experience will be completely amazing.

    I agree. The performances for this era are all starting to seem all the same and yes the suit thing is being overdone since hes doing it since 2007 LOL He def needs something fresh to wear to go with his fresh new songs!

    Totally disagree. Thought the performance was amazing. He’s not 21 anymore either. He’s 32. He looks great in a suit and tie. You’ll need to look to bieber for your other fix. lol I’ll take dapper singing his ass off Timberlake any day of the week.

    I still think the Grammys one was the shit… And he rocked the SUIT and TIE appropriately. But ‘Mirrors’ has nothing to do with being dapper and looking like you’re desperate to guest star on the no longer relivant, Mad Men. Plus, I have to admit, his walking around this stage for days and days was just flat out ZZZZZZZ.

    Here’s to hoping his tour with Jay Z won’t just be the two of them walking around in suits.

    32 is not old. And this concept wouldn’t be such an issue if he hadn’t done it last era already. This is the same concept as last era only retro instead of modern.

    Justin could still dance and do things that are mature without trying to be a Bieber. And nobody over the age of 18 is going to Biever for their fix since his music is shitty and he’s nowhere near as talented or original as JT.

    Ya, I’m starting to agree with you. I think I was on JT induced highs for the last month… But ‘Mirrors’ isn’t really giving me the “smash” feeling… Especially with a dated performance like that. Damn, Rihanna’s ‘Stay’ performances have more life

    I still really like Mirrors but not as a single. I can’t even tell if it IS a single, or if he’s just rolling out songs before the album drops.

    Mirrors will sound really good when heard within the context of the album I think. I’m definitely still team JT, but the concept this era doesn’t have much originality.

    I am not excited for this era. It is boring and unoriginal. When MJ was 30, he released Bad and was dancing and singing. Smooth Criminal is the business. I am not entertained by JT’s performances this era. He needs to change it up. It’s reductive as Madonna would say.

    Oh no, he forgot how to sing well in that octave and it’s my favorite, I can’t stand his falsetto :( Mirrors is my jam and Suit is terrible, lets be honest people, we all know we were like wtf when we heard that dumb song for the first time. I knew it was down hill from there with this era and this performance is further proof that I’m right. I thought it was getting better when Mirrors was released but then I realize its only a promo single and there will be no video and then this, he can’t sing it live and he’s wearing a suit…AGAIN. I’m so tired of his stupid suit and his retro non-swag. I hope he reads all the feedback, he needs the critiquing. I mean, he’s only getting away with this because of his name and fan base. And so what if he’s 32, he’s got other clothes in his closet and I doubt he forgot how to dance. Look at JLo, if I’m not mistaken her singing career didn’t start until early 30s and she was dancing her ass off and rocking the hottest gear. He needs like a leather jacket and jeans, he’s not an old fart but that’s what he’s looking like. (BTW, fan since I Want You Back. *oh so disappointed with this era*)
