Jennifer Lopez performs average new single “Goin’ In” live on American Idol

Two big things happened on the American Idol finale tonight. My huge dicked country bumpkin power top baby daddy Phillip Phillips was crowned winner, and Jennifer Lopez performed her brand new single “Goin’ In” for the first time.

I think I may have gotten a little too excited over J.Lo’s new tune when it was first announced, because the song itself is really nothing special at all. I was hoping for some serious fiyah from The World’s Most Beautiful Woman, but “Goin’ In” is about as inoffensively pedestrian as any one of the generic Top Forty tunes currently burning up the Hot 100. It’s not even bad, just utterly boring. The performance wasn’t the best either, with Jen trying to relive her urban days while pretending to sing to a pre-recorded vocal.

The heat turned up for the second part of the performance though, when Jenny stripped down and was joined by reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel to perform their hit collaboration “Follow the Leader”. Her classic hip-hop swag was back in full effect and the song itself is nothing short of a certified banger.

That’s the J.Lo I love!

Check both performances out below.

Thank god Goin In is for the Step it Up Soundtrack. It sounds like an okay song but I want to hear the full HQ version. Its always weird to hear a song live for the first time. The performance was good but the song was over rated.

She sang the verses live on Follow the Leader. The song and performance was A SMASH! SLAYED. My wig is somewhere back in the Idol studio. Maybe the cleaning crew can mail it back to me if they find it tossed somewhere. Wisin and Yadel were a lil akward, especially Yadel bc when Jen was flirt singing with Yadel, he was just standing there looking at them like a creeper. Maybe they were nervous to perform in front of an American audience? IDK. And they clearly had technical issues.

I loved seeing Carrie Underwood nod in approval. She probably used both hands to hold on to her blonde country wig. And Jimmy Ivene was clapping too. Haha. He’s bold. JLo snatched that wig a long time ago. I would love for her to sign with Interscope bc even when their artist albums don’t sell, they continue to release singles and shoot videos. I hate how JLo only released 2 singles per her last 2 albums previous to Love?. And wonders why she had 2 back to back flops.

Back to topic, FOLLOW THE LEADER WAS HOT. GOIN IN WAS OK.

What it she wearing? J.Lo..no. Your hip hop image barely worked the first time, lets not re-visit it.

Rihanna: 24 Y.O., no dramatic body changes

Goin’ In my make me care about Jennifer again. To think she was my second most played artist until last year. I just wasn’t feeling it once Love? came out.

I actually like the song a lot more than I expected (since I hated ‘Party Rock Anthem’ and ‘Sexy and I Know It’) but I felt like Florida was so out of place!
