Is Rihanna already working on her next album?

Hmm, it’s almost 11pm – time for another Rihanna album.
Talk That Talk has barely had enough time to warm up the bargain bin, but it looks like RiRi is already rushing out a follow-up to the one-hit-disc.
The wig-wearing domestic abuse advocate was spotted hitting up a recording studio in London last week, and Rated R dubstep duo Chase & Status have just confirmed that they’ve met with Breezy’s punching bag about working on some new tunes for her.
The new album isn’t really a surprise given RiRi’s track record and the future of Talk That Talk. The album’s already shifted a respectable 2.5 million copies worldwide and produced one of the biggest hits of the past two years, but it’s a shitty album overall and there aren’t any real hits left. The only other big tune would be “Where Have You Been”, but it’s so similar to “We Found Love” that it may be scrapped due to WFL’s refusal to die on the charts.
A lot of people give Rihanna grief for her rapid-fire releases, but they don’t bother me much. She’s not doing anything that Dolly Parton and Barbra Streisand didn’t used to do, and she’s savvy enough to pull a Madonna and reinvent herself into something fabulous with each release. I’d rather the Rihanna approach over Beyonce’s, who usually bleeds her boring albums dry over a period of three years.
Rihanna never-ending release schedule only started getting a little tired with Talk That Talk. Most of that album sounded like trash, and it was hugely disappointing after Good Girl Gone Bad, Rated R, and Loud, all of which were fantastic pop albums. If her next album is going to be anything like Talk That Talk, I’d rather RiRi just release digital singles or EPs and save us all the torture.
On the bright side, considering her reconciliation with Chris Brown, maybe we’ll get another Rated R. Lord knows that he’s already beating her up again — if not with his fists, then with that skinny pencil he calls a dick. Rihanna’s pussy must look like a slice of pink Swiss cheese after that thing’s done poking around in there.
