Hood Kween: Ke$ha hooks up with Lil’ Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and T.I. for new “Sleazy” remix

It’s official: Ke$ha is the new Empress of Hip-Hop!

The blue-eyed blonde from Nashville is about to get hood on yo’ ass, enlisting rappers Lil’ Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and T.I. to add some more urban firepower to the Andre 3000 remix of her Cannibal cut “Sleazy”.

T.I. confirmed the news to XXL in a new post-jail interview, but didn’t specify on what exactly the new beefed-up remix was being used for.

Sadly for you fans of The Throne, Kanye West will not be appearing on the remix because Ke$ha didn’t want to see his mangina.

Kween Ke$ha is currently working on her second full-length album, which has a projected release date of May, 2012. I heard some whispers that the label aren’t happy with her trying to take the record in a more 70s-inspired rock direction, but take that with a grain of salt for now.

while this sounds amazing, sleazy’s time has come and gone. she should’ve just used the rappers on a new track altogether.

I don’t think I would be able to handle this I say #1 for sue even if its centuries old.

70′s rock? um… she will for sure flop if she does that. she’s known for her crazy dr luke dance songs, no one wants to hear her singing rock.

  • SerferTJ

    OH HELL YA$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!
But at the same time, how are they gonna fit Ke$ha and 4 rappers on one song? They gonna make this an 8 minute song and send it to radio? lol

Still waiting for X-Tina’s undercover pu$$y poppin thug smash “Woo Hoo” to get this treatment…

So ,,, is sleazy getting a proper single release? I hope so :)

I never thought she was gonna do a full rock album. Maybe added rock elements to her electropop style, but not a complete stray from it.

I think it’s more for the mix tape that T.I.’s dropping before his album, as opposed to a proper single. But kewl.

I’m sure it wasn’t even full rock, but u know how labels are. If it wasn’t 100% straight up Dr Luke dance, then they prob didn’t wanna hear it.

  • De Montalvo1

omg i was JUST thinking about her today!

I’ve come around on Kesha. She’s talented. Not to mention she’s actually making this album/EP last instead of churning out another one so quickly.

If anyone can pull 70s rock, it’s Ke$ha.
She has the craziness & the disturbing lyrics not to mention the attitude.
She does not act like a pop star, so I have hopes.

As far as the remix, I really hope this gets the single treatment cuz K$ needs good rep.

    I LOVE SLEAZY!!!

And the remix sounds incredible already! Can’t wait.

Labels think they know everything. Let the artists do their shit for Petes sake. I don’t like Gaga that much but I respect her cuz she doesn’t let her label make all the decision-making. She has spoken about this a couple of times

While agree I do think the artist should have some imput in what they release, I still think the labels know what they are doing. The music industry is quite frankly a business. And as a business they care about sales. In doning so they research trends and have a MUCH better feel for what will sell better than the artist. The artists did not go to school for business and marketing, but the record label executives did. While it may seem like they sometimes make questionable choices concerning what gets released (i.e. singels), they generally have a clue of what they are doing unlike the artist who may feel “inspired” to make and release a song that would end up bombing on the charts.

I’d be ok with some rock influences in it, but I would not be a fan of Ke$ha turning down the BPMs and blasting out Free Brid with just guitar accompaniment..

It seems like a little guitar in a pop/dubstep song is on the rise.. I don’t think it would be a bad way for her to go on her next album. She sounds AMAZING on her collaboration with Alice Cooper.

After the “Cannibal” era ending so shortly I’m ready for some new material!
