Heavenly angels SNSD perform on Music Lovers, continuing slaying Japan

I can see your halo, halo, halo…
The flaw-free angels of Girls’ Generation appeared on Japan’s Music Lovers this weekend to perform their double A-side Japanese single “Oh! / All My Love Is For You”. The single recently became the group’s first N0. 1 on the Oricon chart, reaching the top with ease earlier this month because it no competition from AKB48 or any of their trillion sub-units.
The Divine Nine let their beauty do the talking during the “Oh!” performance, miming the song while looking insanely hot in thigh-high boots and little sports jackets. I wasn’t a fan of them releasing “Oh!” in Japan because it’s so old now and regresses their edgier J-Pop image, but they made up for it by adding the beautiful “All My Love Is For You”. Speaking of that epic ballad, I was slayed by the Music Lovers performance. I just wish I could tell for sure if they were singing live or not. It sounded almost too perfect to be true, but since they’ve been matching a lot of their studio vocals live since The Boys and TTS, it’s hard to tell whether they’re really singing or not these days.
This is the last we’ll see of the innocent aegyo SNSD for a while, as they’re returning to a sexy concept for their upcoming electropop single “Flower Power”. It’s due in Japan on November 14th, followed by their Japanese sophomore album on November 28th. I ended up loving “Paparazzi” in the end, so I am beyond pumped to hear the nine princesses of K-pop getting dancey again.
With that said, they’ll still never top “The Great Escape”, and neither will any of your faves. Sorry.
