Goddess Jessie Ware premieres “Sweet Talk” video

Last week, my new queen, Jessie Ware, premiered the music video for her latest Devotion single, “Sweet Talk”.

The clip is kinda the same as Shiny Toy Guns’, “Fading Listening”, with Jessie being played by a kid version of herself, while the real Jessie plays the mother of the child Jessie. I think. I’m getting confused with all the Jessies. Anyway, just like “Fading Listening”, it’s super cute, and I love that all it took to transform Jessie from a sultry chanteuse into a stay-at-home mum was a pair of stylish nerd glasses.

Godsie is currently gearing up for the January release of her debut U.S. EP, which recently ran into some trouble when Big Pun’s hatin’ ass estate opposed a sample of one of the rapper’s songs in the EP’s title track, “110%”. Jessie’s since removed the sample and retitled both the song and the EP as “If You’re Never Gonna Move”. She also told Pun to get fucked, which is always nice to hear.

    I’m not sure how I feel about the song without the sample, seeing as how it’s what made the song so awesome. So, yeah, Big Pun, needs to get fucked.
