Faith Evans lands reality show – new album on the way
First there was Monica, and then Fantasia, and now another R&B diva is jumping on the reality TV bandwagon with Faith Evans announcing today that she’s set to star in her own reality series “It’s All About Faith”.
The show will follow Faith (pictured above earlier this month) as she tries to revive her career with a new album after spending five years out of the spotlight. It will also depict Faith’s attempts at juggling her career with her home life, which includes a manager-husband and four kids.
Handling the business end of things is entertainment company E1 Entertainment, who are the largest independent music, television and film distributor in North America and also happen to have a distribution deal with Universal Music. {source}
The show is currently being shopped around to various networks, who I’m sure would be more eager to pick it up if it had a better name. “All About Faith”? Come on, they can do better than that. I want a pun like her old album title Keep The Faith. How about “Yours Faithfully”? Or what about “Have a Little Faith”? “Fame, Fortune, Fights and Faith!”.

LOL… anyway, this is pretty surprising, cuz I was sure Faith was done with the singing career, so to hear about new material has me excited! Minus the reality show, bring it on! The First Lady still bangs 2 this day.

ooooh yay! I was just listening to Faith yesterday actually so I’m excited to see this! can’t wait for the new music!!! she’s so good!!! and I may check out the reality show, who knows! hope it proves to be a good year for her!
All my R&B girls seem to have to do reality for exposure. Brandy will be having her own show shortly as well. I’m not into those reality shows, unless they involve characters like Keyshia’s mom, Frankie or New York (Flavor of Love, ILNY). I only watch those shows to laugh, but as much as I love Monica her show was boring. She has no drama in her life.

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve heard anything from Faith so I’m definitely looking forward to the new material and reality show for sure!
