Drake’s “Thank Me Later” gets release date

After a lot of delays one of the most anticipated albums of the year has finally gotten a release date, with Rap-Up confirming that Drake’s debut Thank Me Later will finally hit stores on May 25.

“This is my first album and it takes a lot for me to commit to a song and be like, ‘I like this enough that I’m gonna put it on the album,’” he told Rap-Up.com. “It’s gotta be something that I feel is timeless and is better than anything that I’ve ever done.”

Thank Me Later is preceded by the first single “Over”, which in only two weeks has already reached #17 on the Hot 100 and #8 on the rap charts.

A tracklisting for the album has yet to surface, but expect to see collaborations with Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lil’ Wayne, The-Dream and more.

I can’t wait for this album!

I’m definitively anticipating this one! Drake has been serving us the goods so far, and it’s been a good mix of current sounds with the slightly more personal stuff..i think he’s hyped up by not yet appreciated by the scope of his talent!
