Drake hooks up with Florence Welch and The xx.

Drake is after some of Kid Cudi’s hipster cred, revealing today that he’s teamed up with Jamie xx of UK indie trio The xx for his upcoming sophomore album Take Care.
“The praises I’ll sing most is definitely The xx and Jamie, and we’re working on Take Care together. Jamie is probably one of the most exciting producers I’ve ever heard,” he said.
If that wasn’t exciting enough, Drake is also working with Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine. The most surprising part is that the flame-haired songstress isn’t actually set to feature on Drake’s next album, but rather it’s going to be the other way round — Drake will feature on Flo’s upcoming sophomore effort. I know, I’m surprised too.
“We listened to all her new music and I picked which song I really want to get on,” he added.
This won’t be the first time Drake has played around with Flo before. The pair first met at the VMAs and got along like a house on fire, and this week they went out to dinner, and Flo joined Drake on stage during one of his UK shows to replace Alicia Keys’ verse on “Fireworks”.
Florence + the Machine’s Lungs = Flawless
The xx’s self-titled debut = Flawless
Good move, Drake.
