Crystal Castles premiere “Plague” video, announce new single “Wrath of God”

I haven’t checked in with Crystal Castles since they premiered their flaw-free single “Plague” back in July. The music video for the chilling tune premiered earlier, and it’s super duper creepy.

The clip was made by a fan using footage from the 1981 French cult horror film Possession. Crystal Castles liked it so much that they made it the official video. It shows actress Isabelle Adjani having a fit in the middle of a subway station, thrashing about the place like a deranged woman with the devil inside her (or me after I found out that the CW cancelled the Melrose Place reboot).

Crystal Castles third studio album was originally scheduled to drop this month, but the duo have since pushed it back to November. Not to worry though, because a new single called “Wrath of God” is set to premiere on Wednesday.

When “Wrath of God” drops, I’m totally gonna turn it up to full volume and spazz out again like Isabelle Adjani.

“When “Wrath of God” drops, I’m totally gonna turn it up to full volume and spazz out again like Isabelle Adjani” me too, I didn’t know this song was out in july, but when I saw the video I got hooked it’s pretty awesome and the video is very good actually…I didn’t get the little girl in the dance class, but the girl in the subway was crazy in the good way
