Keri Hilson was on Ellen yesterday performing her hit “Pretty Girl Rock” (ain’t it time for a new single yet?), and guess who she picked as her backup dancer? Christina from the best girl group that never made it, Nikki 16!

    I think the audience missed the cue to start clapping during the “You’re Beautiful” interlude. I thought I heard one person attempt a slow clap…maybe it was crickets. We will never know

    Good performance; not great. Kudos to Keri for changing it up a little style wise [was she going shopping later or to the beach for brunch with that outfit?]

    Nikki 16 are the best girl group that came from the states in like 10 years. Their like the new age Vanity 6 with a modern twist. But they never blew up.

    its a hit because it peaked at #31 on hott 100 and is #6 on the r&b charts.

    billboard put out a statement years ago saying their requirements for a hit is anything that goes top 40

    anyway i think the song will peak in top 20. it just got added to pop radio and is iincreasing like crazy.

    I’m so happy Keri is finally getting a solo hit! She deserves it.

    PS. Why so much shade against Keri? I don’t mean to bring up Rihanna, but I will. How can you stan for Rihanna but not Keri?

    Keri is more talented, she can actually perform, she has great vocals, she can write, she actually had a consistent album….basically Keri is superior in basically every aspect EXCEPT for chart performance, which I don’t care about at all.

    and i agree with the person that said anything that makes it around that top 40 area is considered a hit song billboard even said this but it depens also on the artist for example if bey 1st single(who has the larger base)peaks at 31 it would be considered a flop but in fact is still a hit but with keri its consider a hit because she is not beyonce big so stop trying to discredit that girl let her enjoy her fruits of labor she better take in this moment and bask in it :-)
