Christina Aguilera’s comeback confirmed for early August

Have you been wondering what the fuck is going on with Christina Aguilera‘s pop career? Last we heard, she was meant to drop a single called “Love Your Body” or something, right around the time that season 2 of The Voice hit screens. Obviously that never happened, but now we’ve got some solid deets on Aggie’s comeback, courtesy of Billboard.
Homegirl’s new single is apparently an as-yet-untitled Max Martin “club banger” with a chorus that’s built around the flawless line, “All I want to do is what you wanted.”
Aggie’s also apparently collaborated with her Voice co-stars Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton for her upcoming album, which is 74% guaranteed to be better than Bionic.
Billboard cites a mystery source for this information, who we all know was Matt Rutler whispering into a gold-plated vintage telephone receiver in the foyer of Aggie’s mansion as she stood next to him with her arms folded across her plastic chest, sternly tapping the right heel of her Louboutins on her foyer’s marble floor while focusing intensely on Rutler’s every word as he read aloud from the script she had prepared for him.
