Christina Aguilera lines up ‘You Lost Me’ as next Bionic single.

The generally reliable AOL Radio Blog are reporting that Christina Aguilera has decided to go with the big ballad “You Lost Me” as the latest single from her struggling Bionic album. Take a look at what they had to say below:

‘You Lost Me’ is the latest single off of Christina Aguilera’s new album ‘Bionic,’ released on June 8, and follows her single, ‘WooHoo.’ As Aguilera has stated before, ‘Bionic’ is something of a futuristic album, featuring an eclectic mix of R&B, pop, and ballads. As cutting edge as the album may be, though, Aguilera’s new song proves that sometimes, we all need to look back, before moving on.

Aggie’s camp have probably already informed certain media outlets that “You Lost Me” is the latest single, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they decide to change it at the last minute. Since “Not Myself Tonight” bombed on the charts, Aggie’s team have seemed confused and uncertain over what their next move is going to be. Rumors have recently swirled that a video could be in the works for “Woohoo”, while Aguilera has been out & about performing the hell out of both “You Lost Me” and “Bionic” – the latter which just debuted on the Hot 100 at #66.

What’s going on?

The current confusion surrounding singles really isn’t helping Christina in the wake of her poor sales and the witch hunt that the media have against her right now. Eek.

For fun, leave me a comment on how YOU would’ve handled the ‘Bionic‘ era in terms of singles.

I think promotion of the album is definitely key – and Christina could have done more of that – I definitely anticipated the wait of the album and couldnt turn it off when it finally came out in Canada.

I do think though alot of the tracks that were on the bionic delux cd should have been included on the bionic album in stores. Stronger than ever was amazing – and most people haven’t even heard it!

She’s an incredible performer and I know she’s in the studio again so hopefully her next album brings her back to the top where she belongs! After all her struggles with Jordan and the media.. she will stand tall like she has through all her troubles! Amazing woman… can’t wait to see what’s next!
