The Post caught up with the Swedish sensation backstage on her All Hearts tour, where they got her to dish on everything from her Body Talk albums to her favorite music and plans for the future.

Nicki Minaj was an open book this week when she sat down with Billboard.com for an extensive new interview, clocking in at nearly 30 minutes.

Answering questions from fans on Twitter, Nicki discussed her upcoming debut album Pink Friday, her fantasy female super group, changing her rapping style, working on her second single, the lessons she’s learned since hitting the big time, going to India to study Ghandi if she wasn’t famous (Sure Nicki), Lil’ Wayne, the difference between her mixtapes and her album and a whole lot more.

Meanwhile, Nicki’s hit “Your Love” is showing no signs of slowing down, and is still sitting at #1 on the Rap charts and #14 on the Hot 100. There’s not much info on her next single yet, but one of the future follow-ups is set to be a “pretty song” titled “Right Through Me”, which will drop closer to the album’s release date. If the next single is a hit, then Nicki should start looking into doing a few things internationally. If she wants to be in the same league as the Missy’s, Kim’s and Eve’s, then she’s going to have to extend her reach outside of the US.

Everybody’s favorite new pop star Sky Ferreira is over in the UK at the moment ahead of the impending release of her debut single “One”, drumming up some new artist buzz to ensure that her first single pulls a Ke$ha and tops the charts.

One of her stops was BBC’s Radio One, where she discussed a few things like Katy Perry and that hot Twilight guy (the pale one, not that pre-pubescent wolf boy) to Jedward and Britney. The interview was topped off with a chocolate eating competition, but Sky didn’t seem too into it. They’re lucky that wasn’t me in the comp, because if somebody put all those chocolates in front of me I’d be stuffing my face to the point of some Linda Blair-style projectile vomiting. I love chocolate.

UK girl group The Saturdays were on Alan Carr Chatty Man this week to perform their new EP single “Missing You”. The fivesome tried to spice things up a little by opting to perform a cheap club mix of the track, instead of the original radio edit.

Before the performance, the girls sat down with Alan Carr for a lengthy chat about their boyfriends, nude photos, their new reality show and a few other bits & pieces.

“Missing You” will be out to purchase in the UK on August 9th, followed by their EP thingy Headlines on the 16th. I’ll be interested to see how they chart.

Selena Gomez, aka the cutest, most adorable teenager on the planet (f**k you Taylor Momsen!), appeared on Lopez Tonight to promote her first feature film Ramona and Beezus, and to plug her addictive new single “Round & Round”.

However, Selena had completely lost her voice, so she was forced to communicate with George Lopez via a special communication machine called a Dynavox. Selena had programmed all her answers into the device prior to the interview, later prompting it to spit out computer generated responses to Lopez’s probing questions during their chat. Hilariously awkward.

In related news, Selena is set to collaborate with Katy Perry on her upcoming sophomore album A Year Without Rain. According to Selena, Katy personally gave her the song and will appear on it as a backing vocalist, which in other words basically just means that Selena’s record company threw her some Teenage Dream leftover.

Up & coming singer-songwriter-musician Margo received an overwhelmingly positive response when I featured her in a new artist post earlier this month, so I’m happy to now bring you guys her second real interview, which was uploaded onto YouTube earlier today.

In the interview, Margo talks talks about her musical ambitions, how she got started, her upcoming debut album ‘Gunpowder‘, her style and a few other things. There’s also a preview of what looks like an upcoming promo music video — which sounds like it’s going to kick some serious ass.

I love this woman. Her sound, her style and her look is exactly what pop music needs right now.

The sexiest man alive (yeah, I said it) Enrique Iglesias proved that his hilarious appearance on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man last week wasn’t a fluke when he appeared on Lopez Tonight for another side-splitting interview.

Enrique was supposed to be promoting his new album Euphoria, but actually ended up talking about everything besides his music. He discussed how becoming famous improved his sex life, water-skiing naked, his crotch and loving his gay fans. After talking about the gays, Enrique then kissed George Lopez, and said he’d be the top if they were in a relationship.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

The dirty talk then continued when Enrique brought out Pitbull to help him answer some fan questions on Twitter, with the pair unable to go a minute without injecting some kind of sexual-innuendo into the conversation. They discussed porn (which had to be censored), virginity, tampons and then strangely, crying to a Justin Bieber song.

There was also a performance of the mega-hit “I Like It”, briefly reminding us that Enrique is actually an artist and not just a sex-obsessed piece of eye candy.

One of The Prophet Blog’s faves Teairra Mari sat down with Honey TV recently for a 10-minute interview to discuss pretty much everything.

The most interesting part of the chat was, of course, about her sophomore album At That Point, which she vowed will be retitled to something else (I’ve been rockin’ with At That Point for a long time – I’m past that point!”). She also mentioned once again that she’s re-recording the album, which, “should hopefully be done in a couple of months”. A couple of months maybe, but my uneducated guess says that it won’t actually be released until early 2011 when the competition isn’t so tough.

Tea-Tea also talked about her new single “Body” (which I’m shamelessly addicted to FYI), her upcoming seven-track EP Sincerely Yours and DJ Drama mixtape, originally being turned down for her role in the Lottery Ticket movie, dating and sexuality, a new song she’s recorded called “Freak”, being different to Rihanna, the positive side of music leaks, her plans for the future and much, much more.

It’s a great interview, not only because it was informative, but also because Tea-Tea is always so fun to watch. The, “Girl, you ain’t a model” line is hilarious!

The gorgeous, stunning, amazing, talented, elegant, adorable Selena Gomez has her first major feature film Ramona and Beezus opening in theaters this week, so she’s been out & about and hitting the promo trail hard.

Before I continue this post, I just want to announce that yesterday I decided that I’m a Selena Gomez stan, hence the gushing at the start of this post.

Moving on now, Sweet Selana kicked things off with a hilarious appearance on David Letterman yesterday, where she ate fried pickles and talked about going to Hooters. She then appeared on The View earlier today to talk more about her new movie, Miley Cyrus’, and to preview her new clothing line which I bet she had no hand in actually designing herself.

Besides flogging her new flick (which I’ll be seeing opening day), Selena is also riding high on the charts with her incredible new smash hit “Round & Round”, lifted from her upcoming sophomore album A Year Without Rain.

R&B favorite Monica hit up BET’s 106 & Park today to premiere her brand new music video “Love All Over Me”. The song is the second single to be lifted from her Gold-certified Still Standing album and is currently rising rapidly up the R&B/Hip-Hop charts; this week sitting at #14.

After shooting the breeze with the idiotic Terrence & Rosci for a while, Monica got down to business and explained the interesting concept behind the Chris Robinson-directed music video: the clip has her caught up in a messy love triangle between her new man (played by basketball Shannon Brown) and her first love (played by rapper Maino) who has just arrived back in her life after twelve years in jail. The video ends with Monica at the alter ready to be married, and then viewers have to vote on her official website who they want to see her end up with. The viewers decision will then be unveiled on 106 & Park on Friday.

It’s a great concept, and adds a little originality to what would’ve otherwise been your stock standard R&B clip. I’m not sure which love interest I would vote for in the video though — Monica should’ve elaborated on which one has the bigger penis, and then maybe I could decide.

The girls also caught up with Canada’s premiere Gay & Lesbian website Xtra, for an intellectually stimulating chat about being sexy, being really sexy, being sexy and also being sexy. In addition to being sexy, the girls also opened up about their status as gay fashion icons, dishing out some fabulous style tips: “We try to stay trendy, but we like to put our edge on it and make sure that we’re unique as well, so that’s why we came up with these outfits right here,” said member Chrystina Sayers as she pointed to Kelis’ “Bossy” swimsuit from early 2006.

The international pop princess performed a concert filled with songs from the new album, which is due to air soon, but for now you can check out some behind the scenes footage of Kylie setting up the show, as well as answering some questions in a press conference. She talks about her upcoming world tour and confirms “Get Outta My Way” has her next single, so make sure you check it out.

Kylie hasn’t hit American shores for US promo yet, but ‘Aphrodite‘ is already smashing iTunes. The album shot straight to #2 upon its release, and is now at #5 for the Deluxe Experience edition, while the Standard edition is #11.
