Kimberly Wyatt of dance-duo Her Majesty & the Wolves sent out a few Twitpics yesterday from the set of her band’s new music video, “Stars In Your Eyes”. The video saw Kim reunite with fellow PCD bandmate Ashley Roberts, who acted as an official choreographer for the shoot. Ashley also hinted at a possible cameo in the clip, before jumping on a flight to Australia once filming wrapped up.

“Stars In Your Eyes” will be the official first single from Her Majesty & the Wolves, as it’s since been confirmed that the clubby “Glaciers” was just a promotional buzz single.

Meanwhile, Kim’s other, less interesting former bandmate Nicole Scherzinger, sat down with Piggy Perez for a new interview, in which she stated that she “didn’t know” what was going on with all the new Pussycat Dolls’ members and that there wouldn’t be any PCD “in the indefinite future”. Her first single is due in the Fall, followed by her RedOne-produced solo album, which will most likely never be released.

Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie can be seen pictured above on the set of Slash’s latest music video, “Beautiful Dangerous”. It’s the fourth single to be lifted from Slash’s self-titled debut solo album, and features Fergie on vocals.

From the above picture all that can be gathered is that Fergie-ferg has gone blonde for the clip, but according to tweets from Slash, she’ll be doing something a little “twisted” and showing off a side that her fans haven’t really seen.

“…Concept is twisted; Fergie’s idea. Fergie is pulling out all the stops for this f’n video. This is the Fergie not too often seen.”

Since Fergie’s gearing up for the next Black Eyed Peas album, “Beautiful Dangerous” will be the closest thing we’ll get to a solo-Fergie for a while, so enjoy it while it lasts. She’s a better rock singer than she is a pop singer anyway, so maybe “Beautiful Dangerous” will end up being a hit and inspire Fergie to break away from the Peas for a rock-inspired sophomore solo album. I can dream.

Marina Diamandis aka Marina & the Diamonds filmed the music video for her new single, “Shampain”, in London yesterday. It’s the fifth single to be lifted from her debut The Family Jewels, and by the looks of these pics, the video is going to be in a similar, poppy vein to “Oh No!”, rather than the quirkier “I Am Not a Robot” and “Mowgli’s Road”.

It’s pretty generous of Marina’s label to give her five singles from an album that’s so far failed to pass Gold status, and that generosity certainly hasn’t been lost on Marina herself, who spoke about it in a recent interview with Blare Magazine.

“Alright, alright, it’s true (laughs). No one’s really gotten me yet though. Like I’m well known on an international scale but I’m not as big in the UK as you think because people know me and their music scene is quite different. The Top 20 is one big auto-tune and I don’t fit in there. My lyrics aren’t the same as they are very different. I’m really just excited to do another music video, so f*ck it (laughs).”

It’s true, Marina doesn’t exactly fit in with the Top 20 crowd. She’s also way too poppy to take a slice of Florence’s market, so perhaps a change in direction will be needed for her sophomore album. Maybe more acoustic? What do you guys think she should do?

In today’s fabulous edition of Britney Wauwwwwtch, we have some new candids of the Holy Spearit on the second day of her current Hawaiian holiday. If you remember correctly, The Queen went on a glamorous holiday before the beginning of the Circus album era, so her latest getaway could be a sign that she’s taking a little time out of her hectic schedule of drinking Starbucks and forgetting to fix her weave in order to get some much needed R&R before her upcoming promotional schedule kicks in.

A brief look at the latest set of Hawaii candids show Britney looking very much in love and happy, frolicking with her boyfriend of two years, Jason Trawick, and displaying genuine, positive emotion. This is opposed to the dead eyed, soulless robot that haunted us throughout 2009, a woman so empty and broken that she could only muster out a few scripted words at a time before being carted back to her cage and medicated by a team of military professionals.

In other news, the livin’ legend (you can look, but don’t touch) Tweeted a new pic from her Pop magazine shoot. There’s also been a fabulous article written by Selected Scribblings about the meaning of the shoot, for those of you who didn’t understand Britney and Takashi’s artistic, daring, groundbreaking, shocking and edgy vision.

Britney Spears is getting better and better at using her Twitter account each day. Just a few hours ago, the Princess of Pop figured out how to Twitpic, and sent out a snap of herself posing with her assistant on the set of Glee, where she is currently filming scenes for her upcoming tribute episode.

In other news, the Brit’s manager Adam Leber today announced that the Holy Spearit won’t be attending the MTV Videophone Music Awards in September, because she’s too focused on recording her new album.

Good news and bad news people……The bad news is Brit wont be attending this years VMA’s. The good news is she wont be attending because she is heavily focused on finishing her new album which is incredible so far!

Keyword: “Finishing”. Finishing her new album, not working on it.

Great news all around. Not only is Britney filming Glee, but she’s wrapping up her new album, and she won’t have to lose IQ points by watching “Video Phone” win fifty million VMAs. Everybody wins!

Keeping the Flopzinger fans forever pressed, former PCD princess Kimberly Wyatt can be seen channeling Brandon Lee’s The Crow on the set of her new music video “Glaciers”. The song is the first single from Kim’s new musical duo Her Majesty &  the Wolves, which comprises of herself and former Jupiter Rising member Spencer Nezey.

God, Kim is coming for wigs and I love it. If you haven’t heard the epic “Glaciers” preview yet then you can check it out here.

Earlier today Britney Spears tweeted that she was spending the day in the recording studio, and now photo’s have surfaced to prove it; showing the Holy Spearit looking her usual glamorous self in a pair of Target wedges and sippin’ on some Starbucks outside the studio.

It looks like this recording date was pretty serious, too — Her father Jamie, manager Adam Leber and A&R representative Teresa Whites were all in attendance. In fact, Teresa — who did the A&R for both Blackout & Circus – specifically flew to L.A. for the occasion.

I wouldn’t pay any attention to those rumors that Britney isn’t releasing any new music this year…

Hilary Duff may not do anything these days other than go to the gym ten times a day to try and get in shape for her upcoming wedding, but she finally managed to tear herself away from her pilates mat to hit up the 2010 Teen Choice Awards in California earlier today.

She wasn’t just there to stand around and look pretty either. Hil beat out stars from 90210, Glee and The Vampire Diaries to win the award for ‘Best Female Scene Stealer’ for her 2009 guest stint on Gossip Girl - her last major TV or movie role.

While this rare appearance for Duff is certainly good news, I can’t help but it find it to be bittersweet. A lot of the world may have given up on Hil’s stellar pop career, but I’m sure as hell not one of them, and seeing her at the TCAs is a painful reminder of how absent she’s been lately. Back in both 2005 and 2007, Hilary was the one hosting the show (a role given to Katy Perry this year), and now, three years later, it was a huge shock just to see that she even showed up and actually managed to win an award (I admit it – I didn’t think she had a snowballs chance in hell of winning tonight).

Since splitting with her record label in 2008, Hilary’s dropped one independently released single and starred in a string of very average TV movies and indie films (I know – I’ve unfortunately seen them all). The last mention of her music career was back in April when she said it was on “the back burner”, and the only film she has in the works is a shaky remake of Bonnie & Clyde that still hasn’t started filming more than a year and a half after she originally signed up for it.

When contacted recently by USA Weekend about her current career plans, Hilary informed them that she had her first novel Elixir coming out soon, and would then follow it up in 2012 with a self-help book about kids dealing with divorce. Hilary Duff the author is cute, but what about Hilary Duff the actress? Hilary Duff the pop star?

“So much of my touring around the world was scheduled so tight, so I didn’t get much time to see all of the interesting spots and didn’t get a chance to relax,” she told USA Weekend. “I am trying to take in a few books.”

You can’t be mad at the girl for wanting to have a life after literally working 24/7 during her entire adolescence, but it is a little agonizing for her loyal fans who are left wondering if she’ll ever try and make a comeback.

Fortunately, things may be looking up. Along with Chris Brown, the Duffster has just signed a new management deal with one of Hollywood’s top agencies, the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), who already represent Lindsay Lohan, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. Is it just a coincidence that Chis Brown has a new album dropping next year and inked his CAA deal at the same time as Hilary? Could Hilary be looking to make a comeback, just like Breezy is?

The gossip sites are reporting that Hilary will wed Mike Comrie this month. The Story of Bonnie & Clyde is then scheduled to begin filming at the end of the year. This gives Hil ample time to relax, enjoy her honeymoon, make a few plans for her future, and then be in prime position for an official comeback in 2011.

I’ve made no secret of my love for Hil’s almost-perfect pop opus Dignity, and the flawless, independently released “Any Other Day” is a clear indication that she can still create killer tunes without Hollywood Records behind her.

It’s time to sign a new record deal Hil. You’ve still got loyal fans – the Teen Choice Award proves it!

I promised myself a long time ago that I’d give the candids posts the boot (unless it’s Cassie of course), but it’s not every day that Britney Spears brushes her hair, showers, wears a nice dress and goes somewhere other than Starbucks, so I figured that I could make an exception this time.

Meanwhile, a bunch of crazy new music rumors have sprung up over the past few days. There’s potential single titles and release dates being thrown around with a bunch of other mess, but I’m just going to ignore it all until something more official pops up.

By the way, I’m really into “Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know” this week.

Just yesterday I was Mr Cynical and scoffed that I didn’t expect Paris Hilton’s sophomore album to ever see the light of day. Well, now the skinny bitch is close to proving me wrong after being snapped filming her new music video on party island Ibiza.

There’s no specific details on the video or the song, except for a few thrilling tweets from Paris.

The music video shoot went amazing today! So many incredible dancers and the clothes were so hot! Had so much fun! Can’t wait to see it!

Paris has already announced that she’s finished recording her new album and that it’s currently in production, describing it as “dance, club music” that’s been inspired by Kylie Minogue. Paris has also somehow managed to rope in Linda Perry as a producer. Linda, of course, is best known for working with huge pop divas like Christina Aguilera and Pink, but she also created an entire album for Kelly Osbourne (which was semi-awesome btw), so producing Paris isn’t that far of a stretch.

I generally find Paris Hilton completely uninteresting on every level – except for her music. She doesn’t have Heidi Montag’s sense of humor or the trash appeal of Anna Nicole, but as soon as I hear her non-existent voice mumbling amongst a mass of backing vocalists and auto-tune, I’m in heaven.

Not only do I praise & worship her 2006 debut, but I’m also a huge fan of her harrowing post-prison anthem “Jailhouse Baby” and her reality TV tune “My BFF’. Can’t wait for the new single!

You can now add writer-producer Toby Gad to the list of collaborators working on Kelly Clarkson’s upcoming fifth studio album, after the pair were both snapped smiling together after a recent session.

“I didn’t know a voice could sound as good as Kelly’s,” Gad Tweeted along with the picture. ”What an amazing singer, and sweetheart.”

Never truer words spoken.

This isn’t the first time that Gad has hit the studio with an Idol contestant, previously crafting some of the best tracks from Jordin Sparks’s sophomore album Battlefield, as well as songs for both Kris Allen and Alison Iraheta.

He’s also worked with Brandy (“Human”), The Veronica’s (“Untouched”), Alicia Keys (“Love is My Disease”). and even helmed Fergie’s monster smash “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and BC Jean/Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy”.

Kelly officially started actually recording her new album last month; a single is tentatively due around September, followed by the album before the end of the year.

I’m so excited for new Kelly music. Considering that she had a dual number one album and single last year with All I Ever Wanted and “My Life Would Suck Without You”, the chance of her topping the charts again definitely can’t be ruled out.
