Cassie: “Electro Love will be more Pop than R&B”
For a minute it looked like Cassie’s Electro Love had been thrown on the scrap heap, but during her recent trip to Paris fashion week with boyfriend Diddy, Cassie indicated that the album was still going ahead by telling a reporter that it will be “more pop than R&B”.
The singer-model, 23, also performed a show at celeb hotspot The VIP Room to celebrate the opening of fashion week.
If you’ve been following the leaks from Cassie’s sophomore album you’d have noticed that there’s been a lot more pop than the chilled R&B from her Ryan Leslie produced debut. The latest delay in the project is probably due to her move from Bad Boy to new label Interscope.
I see that Cassie still hasn’t learned that she sounded the best when she was doing R&B with R-Les.

Prophet I told you the album was still coming! there’s just been so many problems with the leaks finding a single to take off, but next to the Dirty Money/Last Train To Paris…this is the biggest music project for Bad Boy! I’m pushing for her too! anything more I figure out I’ll let you know, but its coming!!

She can’t sing a LICK, but I gotta say Cassie can make some catchy ass songs. I want this album, and Hide is the business.
So in other words, she’s following a trend. Oh well. Just like I didn’t buy her last album, I wasn’t going to buy this new one either…no matter what bandwagon she attempts to jump on.

Its about damn time! I actually like Cassie and her music. And people really need to stop judging her on just her 106andPark performance. She has some videos on YouTube where she is singing, and sounds good in my opinion. You have artist that are stone cold famous and sing like shit everytime they hit the stage. And people have the nerve to talk…

Cassie can be big…if her management had it together. The song Hide is fire. She just need to release another hot song, promote it like crazy, and drop the album.
