Carson Daly calls out Britney’s controlling team.

By now, most rational individuals are somewhat aware that something seems not quite right within the walls of Brand Britney, but now, for the first time this era, a celebrity has spoken out about Britney’s current situation.

Popular TV and radio personality Carson Daly, who has worked with Spears multiple times in the past, put Britney’s management on blast yesterday, publicly calling out the pop legend’s team for the amount of control they are wielding over her publicity this era. In a series of Tweets, Carson revealed that in order for him to interview Britney, their conversation needed to be pre-recorded, and then Carson would have to hand in the tapes to her team so they could be edited and censored overnight, before being ready for public consumption.

    Nothing that breaking. The interviewer in her glamour mag shoot if I’m not mistaken from the circus era said the same. That questions had to be approved and her managers were around the whole time. This isn’t new info

    finally someone in the industry sayin what ppl who arent crazy stans have been saying .. britney is being manipulated and controlled and carson is right its insane!! im currently watchin britney “perform” on good morning america and im not bein mean when i say this but she just needs to quit .. cuz if shes really enjoyin it all then she deserves an oscar because it really doesnt seem like it ..ppl always wana say shes a legend and add her with ppl like madonna and cher and those women are still busting their asses 30 and 40 years in the industry and britneys blackout (when she made a huge decline performance wise) was released in 2007 so she had only been around for about 8 years and already she fell off thats no legend. she has never been a great vocalist but before she was trying at least it can literally be argued that shes talking to a melody on a lot of her songs. i really dont just wana hate on her but i used to be a huge fan and now im just nervous for her that shes going to snap .. again .. i hope britneys team reads these blogs and does the right thing which is let the girl live and raise her kids

    This is sad. It shows how Britney has pretty much no involvement in her own career – I really wish Britney would go on a hiatus for about 5 years or so, get herself together, maybe try for a more normal, low-key life with her young family, then when she feels she’s able to, take control of her career and the music she makes and make a comeback where she is FULLY involved in all aspects (songwriting, recording, promo, tour, DANCING). Cuz right now while she is still mega-successful, it all just seems so “manufactured”, and not coming from Britney at all – it’s almost like she’s become a complete puppet..

    There was a time three albums ago when Britney used to have control, as I’m sure you all remember. Not surprisingly, it was then that her career really soared, too. Then the conservatorship happened, and nothing was ever the same.

    But who cares? She’s a legend, that’s all that matters. And I know the post above implies otherwise, but they can’t keep controlling her career forever. They can only pilot somebody else’s lives for so long.

    Has it ever occured to anyone that maybe Britney has no control over anything bc she is not WELL?? Britney Spears is a 30 yr old woman who has no contol over ANYTHING in her life. There is a reason for that! It seems to me her management is trying to protect the already crumbling image of the girl the best they can. They don’t know what she will do or say which is why EVERYTHING has to be pre-recorded. She Isn’t well! She’s a sick girl y’all.     I honestly don’t know what to think. I doubt Britney would continue to perform/make music if the passion wasn’t there. I mean they can’t make or force her to do anything that she doesn’t want to do. I feel like Jive NEEDS her. She don’t need Jive. I feel like if Britney really wants to quit this business and just live a normal life and be with her kids, she can. Britney has MONEY!!!!! So I’m sure if she just give up this career…… she will be able to support herself and family. I’m just having a hard time believing she is being controlled. But I will say that I believe, her team have been doing things that Britney is unaware of. I don’t know if it’s in Britney’s best interest or not.

And I was saying to myself, why she doesn’t do that when she’s in front of a crowd????

    I feel like, my personal opinion, she needs to DITCH those damn heels and get her confidence back because the crowd goes nuts when she hits the stage. So she getting energy from the crowd. I just don’t get it.

    But I will say this, I plan on going to her tour this summer and if she performing doesn’t get better over time, I will NEVER go to a Britney concert again. I will support her music but as far as concerts is concerned, I wont be there. Britney I have faith in you. I want that fiercenss and confidence back. I hope we get that tonight on Jimmy Kimmel

    @hahaha: it only because of the Label hunger for money. even the label hired MJ voice(a-like)… & we all know, Britney will prefer spending time with her kids than dancing all she has on stage. But we’ll see if she get a new contract for future albums.

    If you watch Britneys earlier interviews she was thriving with personality, watching the documentary she did for the Circus era (and anything after) showed a different woman (and thats after editing).

    I once knew of a woman who suffered from slight brain damage after an overdose. She was still the same woman after yet she lost a lot of herself, her personality and intelligence.

    I’m not saying or implying the same for Britney but like JohnnyS said maybe her team are just protecting her and covering up for something such as mental health issues.

    Its very clear Britney is not the same person anymore, that doesn’t just happen. Britney is her own person and if she was being mistreated you would think like any grown woman she would do something about it, unless she’s incapable of it due to something like mental health issues.

    I see no other reason to hide her from the world unless they are hiding something from the world.

    WOW is this big news?? WTF! Britney is a SUPER STAR. So the questions have to be approved… BIG DEAL! Her manager (now) is the same manager she had back when she came out with “hit me baby one more time.” He is a PERFECTIONIST. And hes stirring her clear of any chaos or BS. I think hes doing an amazing job of keeping her head clear and on the right track. Not only does britney look AMAZING! she is JAMMING! I LOVED her GMA performance this morning! I will admit that her Vegas Performance was a little HARDER but the girl has been on the MOVE for about 6 weeks performing, learning more dance moves, getting ready for another video, preparing for her album release etc.. shes probably tired as h*ll. But I LOVE BRITNEY and I think the girl is on a roll. Her body is a 10 and her CD is AMAZING! LOVE YOU BRIT!
