Carrie Underwood unveils ‘Blown Away’ album cover

When I hear the title Blown Away, I picture myself with Zayn Malik, Justin Timberlake, and every member of B2St doing very bad things in a confined space. Carrie Underwood‘s take on it is a bit different though, with the country diva giving us dramatic glamor and Angelina Jolie Oscar leg realness on the cover of her new album.

You know in the Wizard Of Oz when the hurricane strikes? That’s the Blown Away cover, but with Carrie in the place of Judy Garland.

I don’t think I like it. Carrie is just doing a little bit too much for me. She’s a little bit extra. A little bit Mariah.

But if the lead single “Good Girl” (review here) is anything to go by, then Blown Away is going to slay. Not only has the single been racking up stellar reviews left, right, and center, but it just debuted on the Hot 100 at No. 24 off of just three days’ sales, and is set to crack the top twenty of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart this week.

That Carrie reign just won’t let up!

Blown Away arrives in stores May 1st in the States, and on May 4th in Australia.

    Considering she is country I’m pretty sure she means blown away by a tornado.. not a hurricane. But I guess either could work.

    Beast?!? I like them and all but they are one of the most fugtastic looking groups in kpop…

    This cover just looks cheap and she is so pretty, don’t know why they wanted to make her face look almost unrecognizable.
