Carey Wilson Isn’t Dead, Confirms New Album for 2013

Carey Wilson is the hottest mess ever, but you can’t help but kind of love her deep down (don’t deny it). Her open hatred of Beyonce and a handful of legitimately flawless songs makes her existence worthwhile, but filth like “Breaking Point” or that “The Way You Fuck Me” music video prevents her from being stanable.

It’s actually been a minute since we’ve heard from Wilson, and I thought that maybe she had died from toxic shock syndrome or something, but according to a new interview she gave at that flop VH1 Divas event, she’s planning to come back with a new album next year.

Wilson says that she’s working with Timbo and Polow Da Don again, and that we’re gonna get some more of the slutty “bad girl” Carey for the next era.

I’d rather listen to Alicia Keys take a dump than hear another song like “Breaking Point” or “The Way You Fuck Me”, but I’m definitely here for more “I Like”, “Gimme What I Want”, “Hustler”, “One Night Stand”, “Intuition”, “Return the Favor”, etc, goodness. Even another Rihanna knock-off like “Lose Control” would be acceptable, as long as it’s fierce.

What do you want to see from Carey Wilson in 2013? Are y’all like me and wanting more amazing PAWP songs like “I Like”, but with some HAWT urban stuff thrown in, too?

    Shit I legit had to think for a second, because I don’t know no Carey WIlson haha. Yasss almost everything she’s released has been great except for era-killer One Night Stand. That song was dumb, it made Slow Dance sound like a Prince masterpiece (I love that song btw but you know what I mean).

    She needs to record something indie. Maybe funk or retro style like Solange. Or half dance half urban record with catchy beats like Azealia Banks. If she keeps recording stupid bad-girl anthem or sex songs, then gurl, bye. So many other female artists are better than her and she should have known she doesnt own that lane. She will just get lost in the game.

    LOVE KERI AND HER MUSIC! she needs to make some soulful R&B ballads (eg. where did he go, slow dance, make love, intuition, toy soldier, hustler, all the boys, love ya, breaking point, come clean, i’m a dreamer, tell him the truth) I feel like keri shines on mid-tempos and slower dongs because her vocals are so damn good. Hopefully theres no annoying dance-pop tracks which are plauging the music industry :L

    I hope that being blacklisted from the industry has helped her to become a more humbled musician.

    With that being said, it’s gonna be a difficult road for Keri this third time around, since she’s basically been alienated by all audiences. But if she/her management team delivers with those urban (ex: ‘Make Love, ‘All the Boys’) and pop (ex: ‘I Like’, ‘Return the Favor’) jams, then perhaps she’ll be able to take over as she was formally intended to do.

I know evreryone always ask you to do reviews, but could you review that show just for the fun of it.
