Brown Eyed Girls confirm comeback for late July

Wow. All it takes is one small announcement to single-handedly make the comebacks of T-ara, 2NE1, and Super Junior COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT!
Brown Eyed Girls have confirmed that they’ll be back at the end of this month with a brand new digital single. There’s no specific details on the song itself just yet, and the group is still deciding whether or not they’ll officially promote it on music programs, but this is still huge news.
It was also previously confirmed that BEG has been recording new material and working with their old vocal coach Wonj-han again, who trained them before their debut and is currently working with rookie girl group She’z, who have gained lots of attention for their powerful vocal skills.
After BEG previously waited about two years between promoting “Abracadabra” and “Sixth Sense”, it looks like they’re trying to stop history from repeating itself by releasing music more frequently. Wonder Girls are also doing the same and trying to re-cement themselves into the K-Pop market after such a long absence, confirming this week they’ll release a new digital single “Like Money” on July 7th.
It’s going to be a busy year for BEG, who still working on more new group material, as well as Ga-In’s next solo album, and possible new solo material from Jea and Narsha.
Update: It’s now been confirmed that Ga-In will release her solo album in early August, so it looks like BEG’s new digital single is being released as a warm up for Ga-In’s comeback.
