Britney poses on the set of Glee and skips the VMAs to finish new album.

Britney Spears is getting better and better at using her Twitter account each day. Just a few hours ago, the Princess of Pop figured out how to Twitpic, and sent out a snap of herself posing with her assistant on the set of Glee, where she is currently filming scenes for her upcoming tribute episode.

Cute, cute, cute.

In other news, the Brit’s manager Adam Leber today announced that the Holy Spearit won’t be attending the MTV Videophone Music Awards in September, because she’s too focused on recording her new album.

Good news and bad news people……The bad news is Brit wont be attending this years VMA’s. The good news is she wont be attending because she is heavily focused on finishing her new album which is incredible so far!

Keyword: “Finishing”. Finishing her new album, not working on it.

Great news all around. Not only is Britney filming Glee, but she’s wrapping up her new album, and she won’t have to lose IQ points by watching “Video Phone” win fifty million VMAs. Everybody wins!

    Britney looks lush and i’m glad to see her hair looking AMAZING ^_^ hopefully they can keep it that was because it makes such a difference and her outfit is hot too, glasses included.

    I’m glad we have an announcement regarding the VMA’s because they do love to lead us Britney fans on every year and then it comes to nothing.
    I’ll still be watching to see Florence though.
    Can’t wait for the album and some new vids, i hope she has some awsome dancing and please release a ballad Britney! ^_^

    I really hope this album doesn’t disappoint. Blackout nor Circus did but after a while I realized Circus wasn’t as great as I thought it was.

    With the range of producers I would love to expect only one track per producer. I want variety, not the same Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Danja bullshit. Although I like them, Rusko, Tiesto and Alex da Kid’s stuff better make the cut. PLEASE don’t accept Darkchild’s stuff!

    That NEW ALBUM is going to be hot! Dumb excuse by the way – she’s not coming because she is focused… An award show can give you nothing, but inspiration…. But actually I don’t want her to just attend… If she’s there I want a 100% performance, not just attending. Even better that she’s not going… I don’t know about u, but it was stupid to me when she just attended, took her awards and go.. It felt like she was scared to perform again SO BETTER NOT JUST ATTENDING! Can’t wait til her new TOUR (hope to have one) ;)
