Britney and Psy dance to “Gangnam Style” on Ellen
Britney is really winning me back after that disastrous Femme Fatale era!
After snatching wigs by shading The Voice on Access Hollywood earlier this week, Britney continued her current streak of awesomeness by getting jiggy to “Gangnam Style” with Psy on The Ellen Show today.
Britney wasn’t too good at picking up the moves (what a shock), but the Queen B got a definite ‘A’ for effort as she broke away from the safe confines of Simon Cowell to dance alongside Psy and Ellen.
The “Gangnam Style” crazy is growing bigger by the day, and it looks like the song will definitely debut on the Hot 100 this week. American radio is finally starting to show Psy’s smash some love, and it’s been sitting in the top thirty of US iTunes for about a week or two now. Throw in Psy’s exposure from the MTV VMAs, Ellen, and an upcoming performance on the Today Show, and you’ve got yourself a hit record.
It’s not just America that’s feeling “Gangnam Style” style either: it’s also the third most-added song to Australian radio this week.
Aww, and some of you said K-Pop would never land a crossover hit, and now “Gangnam Style” is bigger than your fave’s lead single. Oops.
