BoA SLAYS her live comeback on ‘BoA4354′ TV special

Most K-Pop artists stage their live comebacks on shows like Inkigayo and Music Bank, but BoA isn’t just any artist. As the undisputed Queen of K-Pop, BoA skipped the usual music programs and filmed an entire TV special called BoA4354 to promote her return to the scene with her new album, Only One.

The 25-year-old bulldozed your faves into oblivion by performing a mixture of her old hits, old and new. The old tracks were mostly sung live, but Goddess BoA opted to mime most of her new tracks so she could really focus on obliterating every other chick in the game with her 100% flaw-free choreography.

For her current single, “Only One”, BoA had some help from my loyal husband, TVXQ’s Yunho. The King and Queen of dance executed all the difficult moves from the music video without breaking a sweat, reminding us how very few people can rival them on the stage.

BoA continued to slice her rivals in half with a slick performance of “The Shadow”. Part of the performance was cut in with official music video footage, basically confirming that “The Shadow” will be paired alongside “Only One” to serve as BoA’s obligatory uptempo single this era.

Note to chicks like Cheryl and Britney: this is how you kill a mimed performance.

    I was like… Great, another SM artist gonna lip sync on their comeback.. but they she starts singing live and yeah – just slayed. I loved how she didn’t mime the bits she wasn’t singing (bar chorus I think). True artist, true queen. I love this year – been a great year for K-Pop comebacks… excluding Touch. Hopefully Miss A’s comeback later this year will be better. :) (not saying Miss A are bad, they’re on of my bias – but they can do better than touch. We ALL know that)

    Firstly let me just get this out of the way… LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE lol… She isn’t in her prime, has issues etc when she was in her prime she was the Queen of miming so stop… even if you’re messing.

    Now!!! BoA killed it :D I actually like “The Shadow” a lot, It reminds me of an MJ song for some reason and totally shits on “Hurricane Venus” as a single anyway. The clips from the video look amazing I can’t wait to see it! Especially the bit when she had that military hat on she looked HOT! ;D
    “Only One” was performed great too but Yunho was not as good as that black guy in the vid… :/ I wanted him and BoA to get married lmao they had great chemistry.
    Anyway looking forward to the other clips when they come out, Queen BoA slays errrrrrbody in Korea give her a medal ffs.

    Even when Britney was at her peak of miming her dancing wasn’t half this good lol… And it’s been since 2004 (when she was in her early twenties) since she’s given one of those classic Britney performances so…

    Not that this post is even about Britney.

    I think Yunho was amazing, and the black guy probably looked better because he’s a choreographer and also because it’s the video, where they can cut and reshoot until it’s absolutely perfect. BoA’s known Yunho for years so I actually think if they used the guy from the MV it wouldn’t have been as good as Yunho and Boa. Plus, Yunho is known as King of Dance and BoA is the Queen so it was cool to pair them up like that.

    What is wrong with some of the clueless basics’ that wander onto these posts? We all love Britney, blah blah, but to say she’s a better dancer than BoA is really just embarrassing for everyone.

    It might just be a separate version type of thing and not so much a repackage. Like how SNSD’s “The Boys” album was released first and then they released the “Mr. Taxi” version of that album that had different artwork and packaging but only added the English version of The Boys to the original track list while they promoted “Mr. Taxi.”

    BoA, the Queen of K-pop and my fave for the last 8 years <3 She looks stunning, the dancing absolutely destroys everyone's faves past and present, and her vocals on her past songs were fantastic (especially on Tree). Bitches better beware because the legendary K-diva has returned.

    And I love BoA + Yunho. I know they're just friends but still, I'm glad they have each other and have grown so much closer (along with Changmin). The whole JYJ thing was hard for both of them to deal with – they were Jaejoong's two best friends.

    I didn’t say anything about the dancing just about the miming, Britney slayed that… and although she wasn’t THE best dancer Britney had mad swagger that some people no matter how good they are at dance don’t have, I’d rather watch Britney in her prime dance than Ciara if you get me.

    Yeah Yunho’s a great dancer for me there just wasn’t as much chemistry like that as there was with the guy in the vid.

    BoA is a better technical dancer but I think Britney in her prime had a bit more swag, not that BoA doesn’t have any lol BoA is the best dancer out atm IMO.

    Hmm, I don’t agree coz some of BoA’s performances she absolutely kills it.

    But Britney definitely had swag… She had a lot of X Factor just naturally because she was so beautiful and such a big star, as well as the fact that almost everything she did was so overtly sexual, unlike BoA who never had to go down that road. If you look at many of her older performances the dancing really wasn’t that great overall. And her miming was so basic. Some people do a semi decent job miming and try to pretend that it’s half real, like JLo, and some are just shameless like Britney.

    Britney would mime even when she was doing the most basic ballad that required to her just sit there and do nothing. Out of all her performances, there’s only a few live vocals, like I’m not a girl at the AMAs, Everytime for the Onyx special, the TRL performance for in the zone (which was half live half mimed).

    Anyway I’m still way more of a Britney fan than a BoA fan and Britney will always be my second fave pop diva after Janet, but BoA is a way better dancer and singer to me and performs with as much swag.

    Um, as a former Britney stan I’ve seen the absolute best Britney has ever done and it does not touch BoA’s dancing. If you think that it does then you need to see a psychiatrist and get on medication because your view of reality is seriously distorted.

    To people mentioning Britney…well Britney was never a good technical dancer like this and I LOVE her, but that doesn’t mean Britney’s dancing sucked either. Korean artists just tend to be better at dancing idk why.

    Now on to my girl BOA she fucking slayed this. After the hurricane venus performances I was kinda meh about her come back but now I’m gla to see the only kpop girl worth stanning for is back in full force.

    I’m not saying anything about BoA’s dancing, I think she’s the best at technical dancing. I’m just saying that although Britney wasn’t the best technically IMO she had the most swag, that X Factor which I don’t just put down to her looks or sex appeal although they played a part.

    P.S yeah… I used to like Janet, I’m over her atm since she got involved in all this BS kidnapping her mother and trying to get MJ’s money SMH.

    Girl, Janet isn’t trying to get the money! She didn’t agree with Paris entering showbiz so young because she knows it’s not what Michael would have wanted, and she’s worried that the people around Katharine are trying to do the same thing they did to MJ.

    If you know Janet’s history you know she was very close with Michael and she would never do something like this from greed. She’s worth hundreds of millions.

    BYE… I got some bad vibes from Janet at the funeral and I glossed over them and now this…
    It doesn’t matter what MJ would have wanted because he’s dead (RIP) and left them in his mothers care ( not Janets or any other sibling, wonder why?), If Paris wants to act she should be allowed and it wouldn’t have been the same because Jo was not in charge and they don’t need money.
    How do you explain Janet (etc) kidnapping Katherine while they’re contesting MJ’s will (so much for caring about what he wanted), not letting the grandkids (who’s guardian she is) speak to her (Prince even posted a pic of Janet telling them not to let them speak to her), not letting half her other kids speak to her, claiming she had a mini stroke (is there such thing?) and then parading her on the news in what looked like a hostage video with her reading from a script and looking upset while Janet etc sit over her shoulder and no questions allowed from the one reporter not to mention Janet and Jermaine breaking into THEIR house and abusing Paris, trying to snatch HER phone, the kids and passports all while laughing and filming it on their phone???
