Alicia Keys performs “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart” and more for Pepsi Music
Alicia Keys performed at New York University’s Skirball Center for Pepsi Music, showcasing material from her new album as well as performing some of her past hits.
You can see her performing her new single “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart” above, then below the cut you can watch “Doesn’t Mean Anything”, “Empire State of Mind”, “You Don’t Know My Name” “Fallin’”, “If I Ain’t Got You”, “No One”, and then a new interview at the end.
She did a really wonderful job, and this wasn’t even her at her best. I love the way she engages the crowd, it’s not that fake-fake banter you often see.
The interview was really interesting to and it made me wonder if anything she said was referencing the Swizz/Mashonda situation. Anyways I can’t wait to cop this new album!

If I Ain’t Got You will always be my favorite Alicia song so I really loves when she does it live. TSWABH has been on repeat for me a lot and I can’t wait to see the video. It’s a great song that deserves a high spot on the charts if not #1. Can’t wait for this album to drop

I’m fucking in love with this record…officially my fave from Alicia (used to be No One).
I am the ultimate Alicia fan but I just can’t get past this Swiss Beats thing….I don’t understand a woman that represents supposedly what she says she stands for and breaks up a home in the fashion she did….The ultimate of disrespectful, but I will say again you reap what you sow…..Karma is a B-I-T-C-H, ask the former Mrs. Usher Raymond!!!!!!!

Even though, I’m not the biggest A. Keys fan, I’m looking forward to this album.
