I disgree. i think working with timbaland was great. look at the success of “Loose”. She worked with Rodney for this cd and look at how it has failed so far, selling not even 6,000 copies in the whole usa in 1 week. her debut album “whoa! nelly” debuted better. i hope her label ( is it mca or geffen or intescope ?) has a plan to save this cd . i’m still pissed a bout how dreamworks abandoned ‘folklore” which I LOVE.

I’ve loved Nelly since she debuted but I fell off majorly after “Loose”. “Spirit Indestructible” is surprisingly fantastic! “Waiting For The Night”, “Enemy”, “Hold Up”, even the cheese wrapped in cheese “Bucket List” are great! Her best effort will forever be “Folklore” but it’s nice to see that even when someone experiments and takes time off they can still deliver a solid album.

It helps that it’s miles better than Pink’s messy “The Truth About Love”. A dead rat super glued to a piece of cardboard is better than TTAL.

I happen to think this is BY FAR her best effort to date. Warm, nostalgic and musically innovative – it’s the best album of the year. Kudos, N.

I love how she incorporates many of the influences of her Latin roots in this album. Made for some really enjoyable music.

I seriously think she needed a better A&R person on the album: it’s like a collection of songs that have nothing to do between each other.

Personally I think her Best Album is Folklore, she’ll never top album in my eyes. I love Nelly but I don’t think I’ll ever get into this album. I bet her next one will be great though. When Folklore underperformed she (her Label) made the decision to go more commercial and we got Lose which was a great album.
