The title track alone makes this album at least a 3.5, for the record. Also, you sound like a bitter little bitch in this review. “Glassheart” is one of the better albums released this year. And how could you not even mention (and praise) “Come Alive”? This album isn’t flawless, but no way in hell is it a 2.75 out of 5.

Why did she remove Collide from the standard tracklist?
It actually went #1 on Billboard Dance Charts and its remix was even nominated for a Grammy.

The album seems ok. Its definitely better than Echo. She needs to let her voice light up some more instead of just being used for emo songs.

Oh My God, I’ve been dying to read your review about this album, but I was kind of surprised that you are a bit bitter against it. Glassheart as a whole, the production, the lyric, and her singing style, is a great album IMO though there are some generic songs there like When It Hurts and Stop The Clocks. Fireflies, oh gosh, I cant stop listening to that song. That song really shows how classy and beautiful Leona is, alongside with Bleeding Love and Collide.

What I cant understand is, you gave that meaningless-talentless Kreayshit’s stupid album a 3,75, are you kidding me? Dont tell me because it has some hot beats and a Kid Cudi-featured track.

Knowing the context of “Fireflies” gives it more “oomph.” It’s about suicide. I get chills by the end of it.

I personally think Le-Lew is fit as a balladeer. Her vocal is very emotional but restricted at the same when performing other genres of music. Anything else she did is horrible to me, especially those up-tempo and dance-beat songs.

Glassheart sounds undeniably like a remix. I’m sure Ryan Tedder initially had the song’s blueprint as a Bleeding Love clone. I just can’t get into it, no matter how many checks it gets in the hot department.

In all honesty… I kind of agree and disagree. Well I think this record is generic like crazy, I think it’s easily better than ‘Echo’… I initially gave it a high debut. To be honest though, I’ve already forgotten every track but ‘Glassheart’.

Guess that sums it up.
