Adele returns with new single “Rolling in the Deep”.

British soul singer Adele is back and better than ever on her brand new single “Rolling in the Deep”. The bitter, bluesy tune is everything you were hoping for from the new Adele single, and then more. And then possibly even more, and more, and so on and so forth.
“I was so angry that I finished “Rolling in the Deep” in about an hour,” Adele tells People Magazine. The production on the track, courtesy of Paul Epworth again, is more brooding and sinister rather than outright furious, with Adele saving the full extent of her venom for the song’s gut-wrenching lyrics.
“See, I’ll leave with every piece of you / Don’t underestimate the things that I will do / There’s a fire starting in my heart / Reaching a fever pitch and it’s bringing me out the dark / The scars of your love remind me of us / They keep me thinking that we almost had it all / The scars of your love, they leave me breathless / I can’t help feeling that we could’ve had it all, rolling in the deep / You had my heart and soul in your hands / And you played it to the beat”
This is already one of the best songs of the year, and has immediately raised the bar for Amy Winehouse’s comeback. No pressure, Amy.
